The place is ok... is close to everything, and the staff is cool specially ALVA!!! but the internet SUCKS big time! is soooo bad! plus theres like a group of 40 europeans living there on the working visa, and they get territorial at times...

The best thing about this place is the atmostphere, large tv room and backyard for socializing (it's very easy to make friends here). It's a drinking hostel but always under control because of the staff. Free wifi, they have just installed lockers downstairs which is good.

The hostel is really run down and very expensive. We stayed one night in a double room witch had a support in the middle of the room to keep the ceiling up. Staff and guest smoked weed next to the toilets. Worst place we stayed in period.

This is a good hostel, the only bad thing is the night club just in front of my bedroom...

Customer service is a big deal and the blond guy who I dealt with was unfriendly, unhelpful, and just overall unpleasant. I've done my fair share in customer service and that was just unprofessional and part of the reason I won't go back. The artwork is pretty and charming, & the Wifi was a joke. The nightclub is right behind it so it does get loud at night and the 5 bed dorms don't have a lot of room. There was only one shower with a closing door, and they all need hooks or something.

The hostel is old and not very clean. Although we had a pivate room for 60$ per night it does not worth more than that ! The team is ok, except one skinny blond receptionist that is particularly unpleasant (not to say that if I was the manager I would just fire hIm right away !)

Too many people staying there long term on work visa's. They seem to take over all the space in the rooms.

Look like a squat from outside, but don't be scared, the inside is a great place! staff is friendly and know you by name as soon as you arrive; not enough bathrooms for everybody, but it still works if you're not in a hurry; beds are uneven (i tried three different rooms) but if you just look for a place to sleep in a good location for cheap, but still with character and personnal treatment, that is where you want to be!

Not as advertised, newly refurbished, place looked rundown and rough?? Lots of guys asleep in reception lounge area at 9 am. Staff were very honest about noise etc, but the 5 bed dorm was tiny, beds mostly touching each other & no real room for bags, no lockers. I have stayed in a variety of hostels (& a fair number of airports, bus stations etc), this is one of the few times I have felt uncomfortable as a female alone. I cancelled & stayed elsewhere with no issue.

Great location. Scruffy interior and exterior, despite being new. Poor facilities. Sporadic internet connection. Tiny, cramped room. Most staff fantastic. Would not recommend to single female travellers though....!

New backpacker yes but just a few bedrooms are renovated, others are completly dirty, not curtain so you are wake up with the sun, not air conditioned so you are so warm in the morning yet. Kitchen dirty. Old but not charm. Good if you want to drink and smoke because of the terrace on the back. Good if you want to do party because with the bar just nex door it is not very quite. Disappointed.

Dave in the reception was very friendly and helpful. Wifi did not work very well. Rooms could be very hot due to the missing aircondition. Really good location - close to everything. if you wish to explore the city and do sightseeing it is a good hostel (very close to trainstation). We had a good stay,
