very relaxed hostel with a great atmosphere, very easy to meet other guests. 5-10 minutes walk from the city and bar areas

More of a working hostel, but still a great atmosphere

Don't go here... You'll hate yourself when you leave! This hostel truly has the most amazing atmosphere ever. It's not the cleanest one, but the location is great and you have wifi and all the facilities you need. Close to the station and good nightlife right around the corner. Welcome to the family!

Disgusting Hostel. Pigeons and seagulls inside the kitchen and dining/living room area eating the food left all over the tables and floor. Never enough plates or cups to go around. Showers were yellow around the bottom and crusty which soaked through onto the carpet. I accidentally opened a door that was supposed to be locked. Bring your own lock for bag as all the lockers in the room where either broken or taken. People's belongings all over the floor in my room made it annoying to get through.

I made some new travel buddies who I'm going to go to Darwin with so I'm really happy about that. There were many new people coming into the hostel. the prices were very cheap as its meant to be low season now but the hostel appeared to be full. staff were helpful

Big old hostel that is walking distance to everything in the area including public transport, the train is just around the corner. the staff were fine and the people there were pretty cool.

Poor hostel, although in good location. I came earlier but they didn't allow me to check in although there was a free bed in my dorm (as I later learned), which was a big nuisance for me. lockers were all broken, the bed was rather uncomfortable, overall i didn't feel well there. there is a big club adjacent to the hostel, so at night it might be noisy. Internet might have been better, but compared to other issues i can't complain.
