The hostel is relatively new and everything is clean and bright. The place is quite large and there are lots of areas for hanging and chilling out. The kitchen is amazing and gives you the opportunity to cook lots of your own food if you want to.

Nice design with socket next to the bed. It just the location is a bit hard to find. But everything is great! Nice and cheap breakfast. Nice staff! I enjoy talking with the staff and his child. :)

Carlo one of the manager is great! He is a real Italian man. He was great with me also his wife and kids. It was a great stay ! Would come over again. The only thing they should change it's to have a deposit for the keys because one day we hadn't any key no more. Some of the hosts leaving with the keys. Also more pans, and more structure with the fridge. And the closing on 1am is early for those who wants to go out and open at 8am it's late for those who wanna leave early.

Very Nice, very clean and excellent price. Perfect for those that want to enjoy the beachs nearby since it is close to the train station. Only problem was that the hole of the shower box was clogged, so the bath was not that nice.

We loved our stay here. Highly recommend buying the breakfast - well worth the money. Excellent cooking fascilities, better than most well stocked kitchens at home! Had a nice common room to sit in. Shame wifi not in the rooms but not a big deal. Loved the feel of the hostel as the decor was very quirky and original yet remained elegant and tasteful

The great staff, very helpful people. The hostel is clean, enough private and shared space Very good location, only I would change a description how to find it, because the mentioned taxi is very confusing.

Really truly great hostel. Carlo and Barbara were great and always on top of everything. I got there early and let me drop off my bags which they kept safe and locked away. They did the same when I needed to check out but wanted to stay in the city a bit. The hostel is close to the train station, the port, and not far from main roads like via garibaldi and piazza ferarri. Everything was well kept and ideal! only downside was the 1am curfew...

The staff is amazing. I just wish there weren't so many children. There was a new born that cried all night. There was a lot of hair on the floor too.

Clean. New. Great security. Lots of stairs, but that's Genoa for you. Won't be unhappy with this place.

Location relatively central, however very difficult to find. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was at extra cost, but the owner went out and purchased fresh focaccia from the bakery which was delicious! Good atmosphere, lots of people to socialise with. Clean facilities although bathroom did flood a lot. Would highly recommend.

Great hostel with some of the nicest staff! The only issue is the hostel isn't really designed to help you meet new people, which is fine if you're only looking for a nice place to stay or you're on a family getaway. If you're looking for a party hostel, this may not be the place for you. Although, if you're looking for a really clean and really nice place to stay for a low price, I would definitely recommend Hostel Genoa!

The Hostel Genoa is fantastic. The location is right downtown, close to the shopping district, harbor, parks, and more. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I felt like family. The hostel itself is extremely clean and updated. I would stay here again anytime.
