Great value for money and super friendly staff. The atmosphere was relaxed and the facilities were mostly clean. It didn't feel too secure as you ring the doorbell to enter the hostel and rooms aren't locked, but you are given a locker which you can keep your valuables in. Overall really nice and would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay.

Fantastic hostel, I stayed there three times on my various visits to Zagreb. Every time I found the staff to be charming and helpful. The hostel is in a beautiful building that is maintained and cleaned impeccably. It was nice to have the option of a girls only dorm room! Not so much snoring all night :) Great chill out areas and good people to chill out with. I highly recommend!

The location is perfect - just 10-min easy walk from the bus terminal. Staff are nice and helpful. Room and bed were clean and tidy. The bathrooms are shared by guys and gals. The doors of the shower cubicles could not be closed entirely that there was a gap in between. It would have been better had there been hooks inside the cubicle.

Nice hostel and not too far from bus/train station. 30 min walk from town centre but still a good location, would recommend if needing 1/2 night stay in Zagreb

Only stayed for about 12 hours but location seemed poor and the atmosphere was quite dull. Probably quite good if you are looking for somewhere quiet to stay

this hostel was so nice! beautiful hardwood floors, friendly staff, friendly travelers, AC in the room that WE could control (I've been in some that were locked at a seting or the staff would turn off) and overall it was a great stay! Sandra was a great host and was accomodating during my check outa and all questionss that I had. The free breakfast was basic with bread and cereal, but not the first time I've seen that. pot coffee was a definite bonus for this american girl! enjoyed my stay

We stayed at this hostel literally just for one night as stopover, and for this it was perfect. It is really near Zagreb bus station (5 min walk) and so is perfect for arriving and catching your next bus from there. Staff were really nice and breakfast or cereals, toast was provided. Good wifi, free towels, air con in rooms and generally very clean. Weren't there long so can't comment on atmosphere but for what we needed it was perfect, thanks!

I was only here for a night, but I found the hostel to be clean, comfortable and well located. The kitchen was well stocked and the common space quite nice. Walking to the center didn't take long and the staff were very friendly. Not sure how the atmosphere is because I wasn't there much, but I'm sure it could be pretty happening with the right people about. Good value.

Best hostel in Zagreb! This place was so clean, the staff were so friendly and made us feel right at home when we arrived. Main square of Zagreb was only a ten/fifteen minute walk so it was really easy to go out, and the main bus station was only five minutes away! Free breakfast was great and everyone staying at the hostel had a chill vibe so the atmosphere was wonderful. Highly recommend!

The matress in our private room was long past its retirement date. Shame on the hostel for using such a ridiculous mattress. You could honestly feel the springs as you laid on the bed. Ouch. Other than that the hostel was great. great A/C, great staff, clean, but the mattress needs to be addressed. The room number is 120. Thanks

Sevice was friendly and helpful, however the bathrom could have been cleaner, especially the sinks. Average hostel atmosphere.

Friendly and helpful staff. Overall very clean and secure. Cosy and large living room with entertainment stuff (tv, magasines). Decent wifi. Close to bus station, but 25mins away from train station and city centre on foot. Close to trams though (10 kuna per single ticket). There was no atmosphere in the hostel as there were only couples who preferred to only stick together. Unlucky. Only 1 shower for 10 people, so awkward during peak hours. Decent experience - nothing exceptional.

If you are staying in Zagreb for only a night or making a connection at the bus station the next day this is the perfect hostel. That being said there were several multi-night travelers who loved the hostel as well. Nice, clean rooms, fantastic staff. Great all around

The walking directions from the bus station which is how most of us arrive, could be a little bit clearer for those who speak english. There should be more description of landmarks (for example: walk parralel with street car, or cross _____ street with the streetcar tracks, etc.) . Overall a very good experience.

I don't have anything bad to say about the House Hostel! It's clean, has a great atmosphere and the wifi is excellent. Also there's AC in the rooms which was a major plus. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. It's in a residential part of Zagreb so it's really quiet and relaxing, just a short tram ride away from the city center.

This hostel is Cosy and homely. I would have stayed longer but had to move on. The common area is nice and the kitchen is well equiped. There's free tea and coffee. It's close to the bus Depo and an easy and quick tram ride into the city. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. The staff were also lovely. Thankyou!!
