You should know: this hostel is for all shapes and and ages and types... not strictly for energetic youth (makes for an interesting mix). The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating! Yogurt at breakfast was top.

We loved our stay at The House Hostel! The staff was very welcoming from the second we walked in the door and there is a very friendly atmosphere throughout the hostel. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, and it was a great deal for what we paid. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Zagreb!

This is an awesome place in a giant house. The staff are really friendly, more like fellow travelers that occasionally have to work than staff members. The kitchen is one of the nicest I have run across in a hostel. The place was usually pretty full of people wand always a great vibe, because of the awesome staff. Only downfall is it is a bit far away from all the action, but is super simple to get to by tram. I highly recommend staying here if you come through Zagreb

The staff there was great and very helpful. I liked how there was a full kitchen to cook in. That was a great way to meet other guest there at the hostel.

Incredibly pleased with this find - the team is very welcoming, the hostel is airy and clean, and the beds are comfortable. I took a cab to get here originally and it cost nearly 200 kuna, but there is free parking and the center of Zagreb is easily accessed. I would highly recommend this hostel!

Can't say a bad thing about this place...Oh actually I can, the bottom bunks are not tall enough to be able to sit up and type on your laptop. Good side, the people (both staff and guests were great), the place attracts a good crowd. Only other annoying thing was the constant rain over easter. About the kitchen, check what you need to buy first, there are lots off free communal food stuffs going. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful hostel!!! The staff are fantastic, very helpful and so easy to get on with. Great facilities, not too far from centre and a really homely relaxing atmosphere. We had a great stay in the House Hostel, and the staff was very helpful. My only complaint would be that noise tends to carry quite easily through the building. Luckily, we were very tired and there wasn't too much commotion that night, so we managed to sleep quite well.

I really enjoyed my stay. Christian, Anna, & Sandra were outstanding hosts. I also met a lot of others there who feel the same as I. This is one of the best.

This hostel is very clean and like a home. Staffs are friendly and the location is also very good from the bus station but it takes 4 stops from the train station but still it worths to stay here!
