Easy walking to the main stretch of Bariloche. Walk to bus station was about 15 minutes but do cheap and easy to get a taxi. Our room was a private double which was in the next building with its own kitchen. The dorms were in the main area with the reception, another kitchen, tv and computers. Wifi would only reach our room half the time. Guys at reception were great with directions and recommendations. But the best part was Jack, the giant St Bernard dog!

The rooms are on the 2F but there is a bar on the 1F. On Friday night it's really noisy.

Pretty laid back place - rooms small but adequate. Breakfast was good - fresh pastries delivered every morning! Not as clean as other Hostels in the area, but location good (half way between civic centre and bus station). Common area quite small for for the price would recommend as it is slightly cheaper than other hostels in the area.

The lady on reception was very helpful but the hostel was pretty ramshakle. It didn't look like the pictures! Sheets looked pretty old, bathroom was flooded and no shower curtain (though the shower was hot), kitchen was pretty dirty and there was not enough pans etc...not even a tea towel! It was ok for one night but we were happy to spend 3 nights somewhere else! Breakfast was not to bad if you like a sweet breakfast...if not bring your own cereal as we did!

Not so clean. Only one cleaning lady who is also receptionist / owner / manager / travel agent, so cleaning not a priority. Dusty, old sheets, some toilets don't get cleaned daily. Breakfast very poor. Noisy disco downstairs, first 3 days no problem, but Friday got no sleep at all, like the speaker was in the room from 1 to 5 am. No luggage storage and "check out" means "PLEASE LEAVE THE HOSTEL". It was rainy so they offered us "a favour" to stay, but only until rain cleared. No english spoken.

Good kitchen and the twins room had wide space for our big luggages. Also, like the big dog.

Staff was very helpful and nice, good kitchen facilities, large garden with BBQ, double room and shared bathroom facilities were clean though the room as a bit noisy at night from the bar downstairs, downstairs for the dorms were only 2 small bathrooms which were less clean after a day of use by 4 dorm rooms. All in all, pleasant stay....

This hostel is the most charming and hospitable hostel I have known in all my travels. I was greeted warmly and treated more like an old friend than a client. Guillermo, Yoy and Isabelle left a lasting impression as friends, offering me homebrew and a family dinner over New Years. Jack the Saint Bernard is ever vigilant and the place is very secure and CLEAN!!!! The hostel also boasts a lovely veggie garden. I would happily offer the staff a room in my house any time. Thanks Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its a Great!! Place to stay in. Best location and at the same time in a calm environment. Wonderful staff, always willing to help you and give you the best advice on what to do and where to go.Very clean and cosy, The biggest beds ever! The young owners create along with the staff a very friendly and fun atmosphere. At night there are always different activities outdoors such as: bonfires, Asado, Shawarma, good music . I hope to come back soon and i will definitely recommend this place.

Guillermo is an excellent host. He runs this hostel which consists of two separate buildings, one where his family lives that also has a room or two, and another just a few feet away where most of the rooms are. The hostel is clean, fairly quiet (although there´s a bar downstairs, but you can barely hear the music at night) , and has a decent kitchen. Bathrooms are small but clean, although one was missing a shower curtain so water got everywhere. About 5 or 6 blocks from town center.
