I was surprised about the enormous luxury of the room, which was well worth its price. A private bath+shower, bed, tv, desk, hair dryer... even an emergency pack! Included breakfast is also good. Don't worry about places to go to, as the owner will mark every small detail on your map when you arrive! A great place to stay when visiting the easy to reach Seoraksan National Park!

Very clean guest house near the bus line to Seoraksan. We visited with snow on the mountains and the scenery is spectacular. The guest house is very creatively decorated with lots of artistic details. Yoo is very kind and he and his wife work very hard to make the inn as lovely as it is. We traveled as a family of four and felt very comfortable. Thank you Yoo.

At first we were impressed by the atmosphere when we came to the hostel, it\' feels like home, warm and cozy, Mr Hyo is also very kind and generous. He\'ll inform you what to see and do in Sokcho. The kitchen is nice, beside toast we have cornflake for breakfast. The location near to abai village, rodeo street and bbq wang shib cee (delicious buffet bbq, should try!! :)) I\'ll be back again someday, thanks Mr Hyo ^^v

Mr Yoo, the hostel owner was very hospitabe. When we first arrived at the hostel, he spent a good 15min telling us the attractions we could visit in Sokcho. I love the decor of the hostel, as it was really warm and cosy. Definitely a good place to stay at in Sokcho, plus it's just a 3min walk away from the intercity bus terminal!

This hostel was amazing! We were given an English map, directions to and around Seoraksan and even dinner recommendations when we checked in. It is about 15 minutes from the park but the free breakfast and super friendly and accommodating staff make it a much better deal than anything closer to the park. I’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at the House Hostel in a private room for two nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. Mr. Yoo , I believe the hostel's owner, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. As soon as we arrived, he welcomed us with a 15-minute crash course on Sokcho, providing scenic, transportation and finance details on almost every place and restaurant we would visit during our two-day stay. He then outlined the recommended sights on a map, which we took on every outing. The room was clean and cozy.
