As a couple of more mature travellers, we aren't much interested in the socialising aspect of the hostels we stay in. Mr Kim's was great in that the private room we requested was in a different building. The room was small but perfect for us with all the amenities you would need; microwave, washing machine, pc with wifi, etc. The room gave us a good idea what living in Seoul must be like for students.

The house location is excellent, just 10 minutes from the bus terminal and harbour sightseing. Transport to Mt. seoraksan is very easy from the house. The building and decoration is unique, the room is comfy. Mr Yoo is very kind and friendly. The house completes my visit to Sokcho, I really enjoy it.

I stayed 3 nights in the house. It's one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed at. The staff is super-friendly and they know the area around very well, so they can give very good advice. And there was free breakfast too :-)

The staff was very nice and the place had a great atmosphere. It's also in an awesome location. The bus terminal to Seoul is five minutes away and the other Sokcho touristy areas are right nearby.
