Great staff and very accommodating. Rating would be higher but the renovations are not done so it hard to tell how they will all look but based on what they have done so far it will be great. If you are an older traveler or have lots of bags the stairs are steep but staff will help you.

The kitchen had a lot of flies everywhere, and nothing was done to control them. Why not? The shower room floor became dirty very quickly--it was hard to dress and keep clothes away from the muddy floor. Put a shoe rack at the top of the stairs to place street shoes and change into slippers. The Hub could actually provide some cheap foam slippers and leave them at the shoe rack. Smokers drop cigarettes anywhere outside--perhaps have an outdoor ashtray and some cafe tables and chairs.

A fair place to stay in Ukraine. Thankfully owners speak English but many other guests here did not or very limited.. About 20 minutes walk to main square. Several common rooms and a useful kitchen. Ask for a locker if you need it. I never found the washing machine for laundry and breakfast may have been included but not obvious what or when. I liked the bean bags outside and in the common room to sit and relax. During my visit bathroom cleanliness was so-so. Might stay again.

Hostel is a 2 stored small building in the inner courtyard (very quiet, near the botanical garden, main railway station and the center). Nearby are planet sushi, fast food and small stores.Friendly staff, big kitchen, good showers, several toiltets (each floor), several common rooms - one with the computer. Lots of windows and space. I was in the private room - it was about 6-7 m2, big window, bed, cabinet with 5 drawers, hangers and an electornic code safe. Exellent value for the money!

The staff was warm and welcoming and attentive to details. The towels provided are thick and large, not typical of hostels in Ukraine.

Was visiting friend in Kiev for the first time. What can i say about the hostel? Frendliest atmosphere ever! Whole huge building for stay, not like small hostels I've been before. Sure will come back again, met some awesome people. Cheers to the Hub!

Very cosy, clean and brand new place, warm inside temperature, just the perfect place to come back, get warm and relax after some hours' worth of sighseeing in the cold weather. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Location is strategic, in between train station and center, so very easy to get around.. Liked it a lot, good value for money, the place to stay if we come back.

it was a brief stay for one night only on my way out of Ukraine. loved the hostel and the people. it was very warm inside,. with freezing weather outside the hostel was warm and cozy. shower was clean, bed very comfy and we've spent evening watching movie and chatting with other guests. if i'm ever again in kiev, that's where i'll be staying!

A bit unfair as I stayed as they were moving hostels and for some reason moved us to the new hostel which was not yet finished. No toilet or shower when we got there. Beds not constructed. By the evening we had beds and a toilet but no hot water. Only mentioning this as it seems strange the managment would let us stay whilst this was going on. When finished the hostel will be quite big and probably very cool, however location is not ideal as it is 15+ mins walk to any train station.
