Staff is really helpful and lovely. Some rooms can be a bit noisy, but still it might be one of the best hostels in Kunming. Sitting on the roof-top terrace on a nice day is just awesome. Fantastic place to stay. Yes, a little noisy but not nearly as bad as some people say! The earplugs block it all out anyway.
Be careful with leaving bags unattended in the common pool room/ pc room/ bar area. Locals come to drink and a bag was stolen while we were there.

Had a great time! Only stayed for 2 nights, but wish I could have stayed longer. 8 bed dorm was massive, clean and had a balcony. Heaps of computers to use. Fantastic roof top terrace.
