I really enjoyed my stay and the outdoor seating is very comfortable. The staff at the front desk are extremely competent and attentive, however, when ordering food I noticed some discrepancies. Every time I ordered food it wasn't written down and my order was forgotten a couple of times. I had a relaxing stay, and didn't care very much, but in the future I would advise a tracking of orders. Better communication among staff as to who ordered what. It seemed as though they didn't care.

Staff is horrible. Dont expect anyy help at all. They were supposed to pick me up at the train station - didnt. gave me useless, wrong or incomplete information for the buses. Even made fun of some travellers. Internet just sucks. However, spacious rooms with lockers. quite good location

The staff was very helpful and the information on the walls was good too (like about the nearby village, Yunnan Ethnic Minorities Park, etc.). I really enjoyed the pizza and fajitas, view of the plaza, proximity to transportation and shopping, the Chinese feel of the architecture, the staff's helping me with so many details-even Chinese qq!, the internationals around the place, etc. If I could change something, it would be more lighting in the living room and bunk bed privacy/changing curtains.

Great hostel, spacious and clean dorm rooms, with comfortable beds. Very good bar and food menu. A really nice outdoor terrace which fills up on an evening with backpackers and locals drinking and eating. Good central location. Close to the shopping district, supermarkets and nightlife. No complaints. Will be returning.

The staff is very lazy and unpolite...especially if they presume, that you can't understand Chinese. They are saying very bad things about foreigeners. And they aren't helpful. The location is very loud.

Good hostel with a nice set up. Staff speak english and are very helpful to book transport. However, the hostel take commission for all booking and charge for phone and internet. Would stay there again.

We liked the rooftoop terrace and the happy hour (beer for 5yuan).First we had a very basic doubleroom with shar.facil.But the room had only a window to the hallway (so no fresh air!) and it was very loud too from the guest. 100yuan is definitely too expensive for this kind of room. Luckily we could move in a private room which was much better! It is in the back building and more quiet during the night. You even get a towel and shampoo. And yes it's very smoky inside which we didn't like..

Really well situated in the centre of the city with food directly underneath. Nice clean dorm rooms with lockers underneath. The staff were also helpful and spoke good english.

The staff should look up from the computer when guests arrive and show a little warmer attitude towards them. Small toilet booths, toilet paper provided outside the restroom so the guests need to guess how much paper they need before going. In general, there should be a harder affort to making guests feel comfortable

Difficult to find a taxi or a bus to go the hostel. The taxi drivers didn't want to take us because it was near (to the train station). So we had to walk for 35 minutes..

The hostel is beautiful. One thing though, they should put something on the rooms windows for the moskitos, it would be nice. Great hostel.

Had a great stay here, very easy to meet people as there is a large socialising area outside by the bar.
