It is a good hostel. Out of my experience I rate this one to the upper ones of average hostels. I enjoyed my stay.

The free SCOOTER TOUR is worth the trip to Singapore. It was a great time. The hostel wasn't extremely social, nice or clean, but was good value for the price. Free breakfast is a bonus and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Do the scooter tour! DO IT! to get there take the airport shuttle bus for very cheap and efficient transport.

Exactly what you need from a hostel re location, meeting people, safely. Lots of eat/drink spots nearby. I am travelling alone and met lots of ppl. Enjoy.

It was an okay hostel, not extremely good, but not bad either, nothing special. The rooms were okay, the bathrooms were okay. The kitchen was very small though and not for cooking, but there was free breakfast in the morning.

Great hostel in a funky area! Walking distance to so many things and so close to a really awesome hawkers market. Clean rooms but can get cold at night due to the air conditioning. There are also no plug sockets in the rooms so have to charge things in common areas. Would highly recommend this hostel and would t think twice about going back if we went back to Singapore.

Very nice place to stay, good location, great value for money, nice staff The only thing I didn't like was the fact they couldn't provide towels, and 2 bathrooms are just not enough for so many people, Will come back again :)

The place smelt so bad! Overpriced for the quality. Not very helpful in getting around the city.

This hostel is in a good location and the WiFi works but that is all it's got going for it. The rooms are small, the bunk beds squeak, the air-conditioning is too cold, the room fans are too noisy so keep you awake. You have to make your own bed, the blanket is too small. They don't offer towels for rent, only for sale. There are no electrical sockets or lamps in the room. Only a few showers, no hooks to hang clothes. Check out is at 12.00 but the staff wake you at 11.00 to throw you out.

Bathrooms were very unclean and I don't agree with having unisex bathrooms. Only got one tiny locker between 2 of us. Rooms had no locks on any doors so anyone could wander in and out. Main door had buzzer and staff just let anyone in. Air con was good but rooms were very cold at night. No kitchen to speak of. Location around the corner from a building site. Good things were the wifi and free tea.

pretty standard hostel by my standards. a bit of a walk to the main sights but the facilities were great and what you expected from a hostel in singapore. quite noisy at night and the top floor design does seem to make it feel like you are in a huge dorm room as you can hear what is going on in the other rooms next door.

Pretty good hostel overall. Sometimes it was loud at night because the bars in the area. Also part way through my stay they made me switch rooms because they had a large group of Chinese people coming. It made no sense because I had booked for my whole time and they didn't even know where they were going to put me on the day I had to switch. There are no plugs in the rooms either and sometimes trying to find a powerpoint downstairs was a real pain because there were about a million people.

Great staff, I was impressed at how they waited for our late check in. The bathrooms suck though. A word to those who've never lived in hostels before - don't expect much when you live in a 6 person mixed dorm room. You are going to encounter people who stumble in late, people who leave at the crack of dawn, so when you're annoyed at the snorer in your room and you're sleeping on the bottom bunk, please don't use your arms/feet to poke the poor traveler sleeping on the top bunk. *cough cough*

Great hostel with clean rooms and decent bathroom facilities. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The common area was great and had lots of place to hang out and relax. The breakfast was better than most other hostels as well and included eggs in addition to toast and coffee. My only suggestion would be to consider having a female dorm as the friend I was traveling with wasn't super comfortable in the mixed one. Would recommend this place.

It's a very busy hostel and therefore has a lot of travellers passing through. The communal area is great for chilling out or meeting people. The rooms are pretty grungy though, and you have to make your own bed! (I've traveled around Asia for 2 1/2 years and never had to do that..). The sheets were pretty old and grotty too, and the showers are not so clean (though they get so many people I'm sure they're hard to constantly maintain). The staff were really friendly and helpful!
