I never happened to get the owner's name, but he was a HUGE help! We booked online at the last minute and apparently someone had booked the room, literally, minutes before us. He managed to figure something out hours before we were due to arrive. My only recommendation would be to include little travel soap and shampoo in the room.

As a lone female traveller going to Edinburgh for the first time, this guesthouse was nice. Although a bit of a walk from the train station (took me 30 mins?) it is on the main road and close to the main sights, which is nice. Took me a while to figure out how to turn on the tv (its unplugged) and stuff but its a nice place for a stop. The room is small, but nothing major since you are stuff stopping to sleep. The view from my room was nice, could see arthurs seat. Overall, a nice guesthouse.
