I will return there. Mr Arun, the Manager was helpful and it helped my arrival (I suggest you get his cell phone number handy!). The location is OK, and the place is simple but clean, near a metro station. Some ppl let you think the place is not secure... Just have to be careful to get used. I stayed only 2 nights as I chose to immediately go out of Delhi. But the Ivory Hostel was OK, and upon arrival to a-p, a driver came to pick me up OK. I will return there. Have enjoyed my stay here. The room i had was clean, hot water and european toilet, just what i was after. The staff have been very accomodating with all the issues i have thrown at them (i.e changing booking, helping get lost luggage from airport etc). The food is good aswell. It is a easy place to get to from the airport. It isnt really near any of the tourists sites but they sorted me out with a driver which was good. Good start point for India. The hotel was GREAT! The staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, very close to Karol bagh market. It was quiet during the night so you can rest after a long day of tour in Delhi from one tourist destination to another. I will stay here again for sure.The hotel was GREAT! Hotel Manager Mr. Arun was very friendly and always smile and ask me Sir are you satisfied with our services. And I smile too and reply him Arun I am very happy. The hotel was reasonably priced, the Breakfast was good and I had no cause to complain about anything.I found the hotel really wonderful and the staff absolutely brilliant-nothing was too much trouble for me.All in all, I would be happy to stay at The Ivory hostel again. They offer meals as well, but lack a proper dining room so we choose to eat elswhere. If you are offered a free taxi drive to the tourist information, keep in mind that it's a friends business. We were more happy with the services of the official tourist information at Connought Place (reachable by metro).Clean & quality hotel with friendly staff.
