my first stay in malaysia was ok. the house is in chinatown direct at the river. nice view and clean. but the walls between the rooms are really thin so u can here everything.

The Jiong House is sufficient for a pleasant stay in Melaka. My two travel mates and I got a private room, and the beds were just mattresses laid out on the floor, though the sheets were clean and the room was decently big for the three of us. The bathrooms were less than ideal, and the stairs were dangerously steep, but overall it was safe and clean enough to sleep well at night and throw our stuff down in the room during the day while we were out. The owner/manager of the hostel is very nice.
