Not a bad hotel, but definitely not the best in Siem Reap either. Our room was quite dingy and the TV is tiny. The staff is a bit strange and not the most helpful. The location is alright, only about a 10 minute walk from pub street, but the street that the hotel is on is quite shady at night. However, the price isn't bad for an air con room with cable.

Great hostel for a low price. The only thing we were missing was a mirror in the room. Next to that you could leave your key in a box at the reception, but in nighttime noboby really looks after those keys. So we decided to take the keys with us as we wanted to keep our passports and everything safe. But next to that great value for a very low price. Also breakfast is included. And the breakfast is really good.

This is an awesome place to stay. Within walking distance to Pub St., the night market, and tons of restaurants. The owners are AWESOME. They are very hospitable and want to make sure you have a great stay. They even let us store our stuff at the hostel a few days later on our way out of Cambodia! They also will arrange good priced tuk-tuk's to anywhere you need to go. Be smart and stay here:)

Rooms with only fans in the hot season suck...so the $6 price was nice but it costs $15 for an A/C remote to use the A/C machine - a whopping $9 more! There were bed bugs, but I hear that\'s common in these parts so maybe they shouldn\'t be condemned for that. The staff is a little friendly - though maybe it\'s the culture, I\'m not sure - a lot of touchy-feely going on - just FYI. I arranged a 3 day Angkor tour w/ them and it was a little too unorganized - rent a bike instead - short ride.

The King Angkor Villa in Siem Reap was a great stay for us. We only planned to stay in Siem Reap 2 nights, but ended up staying 4 just because we liked the area so much, and also because the staff at the King were great. Mr. Seng is the person we dealt with mostly, and he went out of his way to make sure we had all we needed. When we left, it felt like they were genuinely sad to see us go, which was kind of nice. I would definitely recommend staying here - price + staff = AWESOME PLACE!

We stayed here for four days and I really can't say enough good things about the place. Great budget hotel with spacious rooms and hot showers and cold AC. The staff is extremely kind and helpful and will arrange awesome tours of Angkor Wat for very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend doing this as we were able to see the dozens of temples on our own time and away from the crowds that come with the large tour buses. Overall a very positive experience with really nice staff.

Really great hotel in a good location. Not too far from the Old Market area only about a 5 minute walk, so you don't get all the noise in the evening when you're ready for rest. Friendly staff, good free breakfast, and the room was clean and spacious. Seng at reception is a great help, he can book all your bus tickets, tours visas, etc. We only intended to stay 2 nights, but stayed over a week. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone passing though Siem Riep.

We enjoyed this place very much, it was very central and the room had two double beds with a lot of space. You have to play for air con but the fan is free. Also, I have to give a big plus to the Hostal because we were picked up from the airport for no extra cost! Unbelievable and great! A tuk tuk took us to the hostel and we gave the driver a small tip. Its a great hotal and if you want something clean and basic this is it.

I arrived at the King Angkor Villa and they received me very nice. Everybody is talking to you and you´re really welcome. Mr. Seng, a Manager of the KAV is always available and helps you if you need to know something. Its local to the city and you just have to walk 5 minutes to everyplace (e.o. old market). The rooms are very clean, hot shower, free wifi, the meals at the restaurant are very good, too. I´m gonna be back to King Angkor Villa if I visit Cambodia again. Thank you for the nice stay
