Slightly tired looking room however hotel is in a good location with an easy walk into the CBD (by day). Slight mess up with our booking with the hotel trying to charge a different rate than was booked on HW. All resolved in the end though!!

Poor security. Had to ask for towels and pillow cases. They charged a ridiculous amount of money for laundry like equivalent AUD $4 for 1 undies to be washed! For a 2-3 star hotel very poor form.

The hotel did not have a correct or transparent payment process. It was unclear at all times how much the guest was expected to pay, from the very beginning, including the advertised price of accommdation on hostelworld.com. As we were leaving the hotel we were told that there were additional items not included in the computerised bill and that we were required to pay for those charges and if we didn't the serving staff would be required to pay that amount. Overall bad quality of room & service.

Would stay here again. Fairly good location as walking distance to city. Staff friendly, helpful. Food at restaurant good and very reasonable in price. Buffet breakfasts included a large range of hot and cold items. Room was simple but always well cleaned by staff. Hotel felt safe. I needed to flick the hot water switch on a couple of hours before using it. When checking out, the girl rounded up my bill from the 30cent to whole dollar on eftpos which i wasnt happy with. Overall a good hotel.

THE HOTEL IS IN THE UPPER MARKET AREA OF NAIROBI WITH VERY WELL ATTENDED GARDENS. THE HOTEL IS REASONABLY CLEAN AND WELL ATTENDED. THE NIGHTS ARE QUIET EXCEPT FOR THE MORNING MELODY FROM THE BIRD. TALK ABOUT THE STAFF, THEY ARE SUPER FRIENDLY. BREAKFAST - A MUST FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER HAD A COMPLIMENT OF SWEET POTATOES AND ARROW ROOTS. AND FINALLY THE PRICE, VERY GOOD FOR THAT KIND OF HOTEL. GIVE IT A TRY WITH AN OPEN MIND AND YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT.

My room was not clean and the toilet had not even been flushed when I got to the room. The service was bad and I waited at reception for 20 minutes before I was checked in. I had arranged a transfer from the airport to the hotel but the driver from the hotel did not show up. The porter who showed me to my room took me inside the room, hugged me and told me he cared deeply about me. I am a young woman travelling alone and this made me very uncomfortable. On the upside, the pool area was nice.
