The staff guy called Steve is great ! He gave lots of tips and recomendations. Breakfast is good: Bread (toaster), jam, nutella, honey, apple, ham, cheese, milk, coffee, orange juice. The building is a little bit old, besides that everything is ok.

The staff were pretty awesome - helpful and friendly. Location's not too bad - about 10 min walk from Interlaken West station and about 15 minutes to Interlaken Ost station. Bad thing is that they are closed at certain times of the day so you wont be able to check-in during that period. Rooms were basic and the sheets were clean - pretty much a no-frills place.

Great hostel - free breakfast, luggage lockers in the room. Staff are very enthusiastic and keen to make sure you have a great stay. Close location, can easily walk to the station or even Interlaken OST.

Everything worked well though we arrived late at night, fast check-in and check-out. Location was superb and price reasonable!

I gave staff just a good because although Steve was outstanding I was greeted by a rather rude and and sarcastic other fellow. The beds are terrible. Lousy sheets with bunks that squeak with every gust of wind. My dog couldn't get comfortable on those pillows. Too bad, just decent bedding could change that places character.

Our window was just above where people would hang out until late so we couldnt sleep. Also the smoke of their cigarettes would enter right into our room. We asked them to change the sheets when we got their because they smelled like cigarettes. They forgot one of them, and when we asked again, the woman that worked at the reception seemed mad and unwilling to help. The place is v ery close to the city center, but every night we would be waken up by some truck.

Room, beds and bathrooms were fine, however this isn't a social hostel and is hard to meet people if travelling alone. Breakfast is free and nice.
