Wifi was charged. Wifi reception was only available in certain areas. The boss was very helpful and friendly!

Nice hostel, and a short walk to the centre. Rooms are en suite, and the rooms are surrounded by garden with nice views out to the mountains. We didn't use the facilities much, but the kicthen was large and well stocked with utensils, etc. A very nice stay, good shower, clean basic rooms, but everything you need. Easy walk to the bars, restaurants and shops, and a 5-minute drive out the the peninsula. Overall, a nice place to stay!

A very nice hostel, they only accept cash which wasn't to much of a problem as they were happy for us to leave our stuff in our room and pay later in the day. The only downside really is when we stayed there wasn't enough hobs on the cookers working so during busy times it could be hard to cook your meals.

Very friendly and helpful manager. Well located just a short walk from town and the Whale Watching terminal. Can be a bit noisy at weekends. Kitchen could do with a bit of an overhaul. Plenty of parking.

The woman at the reception desk who seems to coordinate things is very friendly and very helpful. The hostel is only a few minutes walk to the centre of town and to the train station. No problem at all with the cleanliness part for which the staff is responsible. The security depends on the people using the facilities, whether they lock the doors to the bedrooms or not. I felt very safe and had no problems. Having an ensuite is great and I liked that the toilet and shower are separated.

Re;Atmosphere-My score only because, unfortunately, some guests occupying at least 2 adjacent rooms were up all night partying, leaving a mess of fish-scraps and kina everywhere, and singing what would another time have been great Samoan? songs.respite only 0400-0530,while they drew breath.Owner offered a quieter room, but I could see there prob. weren't any!A one-off.Great,otherwise,owner most helpful, room clean, facilities great.
