Very nice hostel rooms were clean with good shower. Having a tv in the room would have been nice but the communal lounge was good enough.
The double room/ensuite was very small and basic, inadequate for 1 large/1 small case. Shower curtain and door/window curtain were stained. Surfaces dusty but otherwise clean and bright. Unfortunately we encountered the worst shared kitchen here. It was very crowded at dinnertime but at breakfast it was beyond disgusting; dried on food covered the benches, table, cookers and sinks. Unwashed utensils were everywhere. It looked like there had been a food fight. Only soggy teatowels were left.

Good short term accomodation close to the town.
Ayumi, the manager is a heroine and is almost certainly keeping the hostel solvent single-handidly. The reason this hostel is not in the 80% is because of the group tours who flaunt rules and seem to get bailed out by ayumi's industriousness and keen to please!!
