The nicest hostel I've stayed at in 5 years of travelling, especially in China. Amenities of a hotel (toothbrush, shampoo, etc free), helpful staff that speaks good English. At 1st I thought location so so, but it is a blessing not to be in noisy town area, walk to old town is short, and you can hear a stream out the window. Horse riding 100m away. I'll stay again. The best hostel i've stayed at in China. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hostel is about a 5 minute walk from the ancient city. this is a great hostel run by fantastic staff. Some people have marked itdown because it's a little out of town, but no more then 5 min walk and if you're like us you value he quiet :)

This is a nice hostel but location is a bit out of the main area of Dali. Nice and quiet but a bit of a walk up from town. Team was very nice, staff speaks very good english. Place is located outside the main city (outside the city wall) but to the west gate just 5 min walk. Very quiet place. You can have breakfast and drinks. Staff helps you to organise trips and bustransfers to other citys. Would stay again!
