The worst thing that could ever happen when travelling. We have not been let in to the hostel at night as the receptionist fell asleep and never opened the door for us. We have tried ringing the door bell for 40 minutes and ringing the phone at the same time. We have then had to find an alternative accomodation and it was 4 o'clock in the morning, so our options were limited. The next day we have been given our money back, but hat doesn't change the fact that it was a horrible experience.

Too understaffed to maintain order during a crazy new year's eve. The door entry code system doesn't seem very secure to me. Has full kitchen, lounge area, and dining room that are kept fairly clean, but the permanent residents that are always around make hanging around the hostel awkward. The best part of this hostel was its location near the center of town.

Very noisy, a group of girls in the room nearby singing and talking all the night, I can't sleep even 1 minute.

Great hostel! Highly recommended. Staff were very helpful with any enquires and directions. Security was good and the hostel is right next to main street which had everything from bookstores to sports stores including tourist information centres about what is on in Belfast and where.

Great hostel with plenty of character. Kitchen was pretty small and busy but we managed to cook our meal and got chatting with some others at the same time! Really friendly staff.

Reading the mixed reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect. But the hostel turned out to be alright, considering the fact that it's right smack in the centre. And at a low price. The rooms were clean, I appreciated the free Wi-Fi, but I think they could do with having some lockers in the rooms so that you don't drag your stuff to storage every day if you want to keep it secure.

The hostel was very dirty, and in the biggest room the roomies that where stqying were very very noisy and the staff didn't do anything about the complaints of the other customers. Is cheap but I will never return there.. I think it worths pay 4 euros more and be more confortable

I've been in many hostels of hostelworld and i can say the linen house hostel is the WORST! it's very old, the toilets are durty and there are just a few of them for many people! my roomates were AWEFUL! they were so noisy and they has alcohol in the room and the staff and front desk didn't care and didn't do anything...the beds are terrible!! and the service in general very bad.. i would recommend NOT TO GO!

I definately recommend this hotel If you are looking for budget accommodation in Belfast. Clean, Large single room for 19 pounds... Free wifi... Staff very helpful and go out of their way to make the stay more pleasurable. Really good central location.. I will definately be staying here again.

The hotel is a bit old and a bit smelly inside. The value for money is excellent. The location is great as it is in the city centre.

The internet is set up better than most hostels however trying to find it was a small pain since I was there late at night and looking for a street sign on the building not on the ground and totally missed it. Staff were great and internet is available 24/7 and you don't need to speak to staff to use it, just need plenty of 20p.

The hostel wasn't the cleanest. They are able to hide most of this because the entire place is very dimly lit. Not the dirtiest hostel I've ever been to, but was a little grimey. The WIFI was free, but only worked in the main lobby which kind of sucked. It is located right off the main street from the city centre, but down a dark alley that might be a little too dark for some. Also, the majority of people in my room were old men (like 40 and above). You get what you pay for with this one.
