Good place, the location just wasn't the best in relation to places to go out at night. Very clean! Room was kind of cold, but the blankets they had were actually heavy and warm.

Really comfortable beds! The showers were really hot which was great! Friendly staff, good experience overall. It would be nice to have personal lockers in the room so I didn't always have to keep valuables on my person. Pretty loud/creeky floors but if you're a sound sleeper it wasn't a problem.

The worst thing that could ever happen when travelling. We have not been let in to the hostel at night as the receptionist fell asleep and never opened the door for us. We have tried ringing the door bell for 40 minutes and ringing the phone at the same time. We have then had to find an alternative accomodation and it was 4 o'clock in the morning, so our options were limited. The next day we have been given our money back, but hat doesn't change the fact that it was a horrible experience.

We booked a room in a 14 person bedroom and ended up in a 25 persons bedroom. The bedroom smelled unbelievably bad and there where only 2 showers for the whole floor (which must have been over 200 beds. When we aarived we had to wait half an hour for no reason ther the receptionist wasn\'t doing anything but reading the paper. We also were promised breakfast and free parking and none were available.

Too understaffed to maintain order during a crazy new year's eve. The door entry code system doesn't seem very secure to me. Has full kitchen, lounge area, and dining room that are kept fairly clean, but the permanent residents that are always around make hanging around the hostel awkward. The best part of this hostel was its location near the center of town.

Very noisy, a group of girls in the room nearby singing and talking all the night, I can't sleep even 1 minute.

We where there in December, and it was so cold! We needed to wear outdoor clothes when indoors. I have stayed at several hostels in Belfast, and this is the one with the clearly lowest standard. We ordered some tours through the hostel, for instance a black taxi tour, and we got this totally crazy old IRA guy driving us around showing us places where he had been shot or beaten up during the troubles. A fun story to tell in retrospec, but we where so scared during the tour!

Great hostel! Highly recommended. Staff were very helpful with any enquires and directions. Security was good and the hostel is right next to main street which had everything from bookstores to sports stores including tourist information centres about what is on in Belfast and where.
