Probably best to avoid if you are looking for a conventional "Hostel", but a very chill place to stay for a substantial period of time with interesting people and an alternative vibe. Tourists should avoid, interesting travelers and artists should feel right at home.

I've never stayed at anything like this place, in a good way. It is not a hostel, but rather a studio. There are two "rooms". One is formed by curtains. Only one bathroom which is spotless and modern. Staff is super helpful. People were friendly. Awesome location. Highly recommend it. Very good experience.

Such a fantastic place to stay, it's definetly a share house vibe. Everyone there was so lovely, we were sad to leave, as it had started to feel like home. The location couldn't have been better for hanging out in kreuzberg, and it is super easy to get from there to anywhere else in Berlin.

The Loft is the perfect place to stay in Berlin if you're traveling solo or in a small group. Being the former, I enjoyed how the size and atmosphere of The Loft made it easy to form connections between other Berlin voyagers. Plus, the people who run the space were super-kind and interesting. I would love to stay in The Loft during my next trip to Berlin.

I had a more than awesome time staying at The Loft! It is definitely a totally different and much improved version of a youth hostel; the atmosphere is super chill and fun, more like sharing a flat with an ever-changing host of characters, and comfortable like home, unlike many of the big more 'corporate' style hostels. It is also small, so it never gets too busy or noisy, and doesn't attract large groups of drunken students. Jorge is also super nice and helpful!

It's not for boring travellers. The space of the loft is just amazing. Big great space with amazing rooms and loads of light. Kitchen and shower is first class !!! But that's nothing compare to hospitality of the Owner. He's a great guy who's gonna help you out with everything and knows what going on in this city. Hostel is keep improving and changing and he adds up new things to it to make it better. Atmosphere in there is really relaxed and you can meet easily loads of people here.

The place is nice and cozy, but still has some improvements to do. We felt ok there, however, the thing that there are no walls for the rooms, but curtains to separate them, makes it a little noise even if guys are respectful and try not to bother, cause it is inevitable to hear people in the common areas. Also, it needs a little bit more of cleanliness in the common areas. I think is not only thing of the staff but guests should pick up their rubbish before going to sleep...

First to say that is not a hostel, it's more than this! I had a great experience in Berlin also thanks to this apartment and to the people that were in it. The position is pretty much perfect everything you need is near (metro, lidl, mini market, beers, sigarette). Jorgi and Fabian are supermetaphysical guys and ready to help you in any situation. I felt like at home and I recommend it to all the people that want to live something different from the typical hostel. 100% perfetto.

Great place! This is the kind of place for those who like to feel at home. Jorge is great! He made us feel very comfortable, he was very nice, polite and helpful. Extremely great value for money. There is a subway station near as well as supermarkets (Aldi and Lidl). Good kitchen to use. We will definitely book this loft when going back to Berlin. Great experience!

Did love this loft. Jorge was a great host, the space is amazing and in a really nice area in Kreuzberg. I felt safe and free at the same time. People being there at the time of my stay were cool and relaxed, but at the same time respectful. I had very good sleeps and nice chats, I felt I could have stayed there longer, I didn't just because there was no room for my last day in Berlin! If you look for a no frills but really Berliner experience, come here.

The time i stayed there was really good, it is not a hostel, is more like a comunity, so, you can stay here and feel secure and like home, also sharing food is nice, cooking is crazy, the fridge is fancy and a lot of space but privacy, the place is improving everyday, and i think all of us make a part of this place.

the rooms were big, the common area was huge and with just two rooms it never gets noisy or too busy, kitchen is okay and the wi.fi is very fast (because the hostel is not overcrowded) This hostel has potential but they need to organise things, It just opened so I'm sure there is time for improvement. The hostel is cheap but beware that linens are NOT included, so add a few euros to the bill!the beds are very comfortable, so, if you wanna relax and have some rest, this is the place for you
