Hot water supply for shower is not reliable, feel cold throughout showers. This hostel is very beautiful and stylish!

Thank-you so much for our stay at your hostel. In the past we have stayed at Dragontown as well, both of these hostels are absolutely fantastic. Friendly staff, clean, in a great part of town and we alawys have such a good time! Thanks a lot!

The Loft is great, we stay here every time we visit Chengdu. One of my favourite Hostels in China.

It's a nice hostel with a small garden in local neightbourhood. It's quite noisy at night as people are very excited talking, laughting and even playing music. We can hear everything from our room. It won't end up untill midnight. The window in our room can not close tight. The staff is nice. Bath room is on the ground floor.

Chengdu is a big place, so there is no 'good' location. Nice common/cafe area. Most toilets and the showers are on ground floor annoyingly. It was a new hostel 5/6 years ago, but showers/toilets/bedrooms feel a bit tired and could do with a refresh. Staff speak quite good English and were helpful. It seems more of a hostel for Chinese travellers, so isn't great for meeting/socialising with other guests (for us anyway as we don't speak Chinese!). Have to ask for free towels.

We stayed at the Loft Hostel for 3 nights - Pros * Nicely restored building in central location * Helpful staff - we booked a Panda tour which was great! Cons * Wifi only works on first two floors * Noisy at night on weekends (there are a large number of bars on the same street)

I stayed in the Loft Hostel in a dorm, the room was ok, soft beds, but just the basic things there. The bathrooms were good, everything you can expect in a dorm. The staff at the reception was very nice and very helpfull. I wish I could say that about the restaurant as well, but there I had the feeling that I was not really welcome and just disturb, even if the food was good. It's not the best hostel I've been, like many others say, but definitely a good choice in Chengdu.

Place is nice, its got a unique artsy eclectic kind of set up, though the bathroom area, even though its cleaned regularly its still needs a little aesthetic renovate or a really scrub down with domestos its got some rust and dirty silicone throughout. But the staff is really helpful, organised pretty well, main siteseeing places they have organised shuttles too, its also located on a small street with lots of little boutique quiet bars on it.
