Nice hostel with alot of character, very artsy and cool. Superb location. I think we may have been given a room with a toilet different to the one in the photos. Was okay but not was expecting. Staff very helpful.

The staff at the The Loft Hostel are amazing, incredibly helpful & kind, they helped us with so much. The hostel itself is incredible, its an old printing factory so very cool & arty, they have a lovely little shop inside selling postcards, crafts & notebooks and have a 'future postcard sending service' so you can be reminded of your stay at Christmas or next year. The room was huge & very cool, great shower & comfy bed. Take the Panda & Sichuan Opera tours - well worth it!

The Loft Hostel is in a great location, the decor is great and the staff knowledge of the area is very acceptable. The staff, however, are not flexible with out of the ordinary requests such as taking food to your room. The coffee in the cafe is excellent, but the food is inconsistant and often served cold. I ordered a burger one day and it was great, the next day it was served cold with a meat patty a quarter the size of the bun. Overall, a nice place to stay. I would stay there again

The bathrooms need to be bleached as there is mildew on the curtains and the ceilings, especially in the showers. Bedding was very clean, but the cement floors were falling apart and not really conducive to cleaning. The artwork in the public areas is a bit creepy/scaryif you are bringing young children. The hlp was fantastic! And th food was very good, too!

The place was OK overall. More attention needs to given to travellers rather than locals hanging out at the cafe. If a room is booked and a deposit is made you must make sure that the room is available on arrival. Clean your toiiets more often.

Stayed with a friend on a tour of Chengdu. We like the Hostel decor and feel. It was in a great area in walking distance of many great things to see in Chengdu. The courtyard was under construction while we were there so it was very noisy at some points, but this was a temporary nuisance. The breakfast was good and it could even be prepared for you for early morning if requested the night before! Very good experience.

Hot water supply for shower is not reliable, feel cold throughout showers. This hostel is very beautiful and stylish!
