It really takes long to wait until "hot" water becomes at least warm.

Thanks for the stay, we had a good time. Our room was clean, spacious and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Appreciated the in-room lockers, but the keys and locks were not great! One thing that surprised me - there wasn't a lot of room to make breakfasts/meals. We were fighting for space just to eat our cereal in the mornings inside, because eating outside meant sharing the space with a lot of smokers. Otherwise, we enjoyed ourselves and have recommended the hotel to several friends.

I stayed at Traffic Hostel in Chengdu before this, which was quite good and very convenient--I was really happy staying there. But then I came to Loft and was really disappointed I hadn't booked with them for my whole time in Chengdu. The Loft may be the best (definitely top 3) of all the hostels I've stayed in and I'd probably the best I've been to in my 8 years traveling in China. Great staff, awesome vibe, perfect set up, clean, fun neighborhood. Stay here!

We found the hotel to be great value and we loved the room, the place was being renovated when we were there and we are sure it will have a great communal area once that it done, although we did not get to enjoy it ourselves.

Unfortunately, the ongoing work in the hotel prevented us to enjoy the food and the greater atmosphere of the place. It remains however a great place to stay for a few nights!

The Loft is nicely located in an area with loads of cozy cafes, bars and restaurants, and only a few minutes walk from Kuan Lane. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the communal showers new and clean. The hostel was having a renovation at the time of my stay, so it's hard to say what it's like when they're finished, but I'm sure it can only get better.

Great, helpful staff; hostel itself and it's location both have great character and atmosphere; facilities are eclectic but complete and comfortable; cafe has limited selection and prices are a little high, but food and drinks are good.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and quickly corrected any issues or mistakes. When asked not to, they didn't play "Stairway to Heaven" on the guitar. Always good when they don't. The attached cafe/common room was warm and friendly although not very set up for strangers to easily connect. The hostel offers decent, very simple, tours to common Chengdu locations. The top floor rooms lacked internet and occasionally lacked hot water or water pressure.

Staff was very helpful! Assisted us in a trip to Sichuan Opera, as well as a shuttle bus to the airport. Thank you!

An old printing warehouse in the 1970's that has been converted into a hostel and has been done up by some artists really gives this a hippie feel. The rooms were excellent size and the hostel itself has a lot of character. In a great location, easy walking distance to all of the major Chengdu sights. Definitely recommend this hostel.

The water was unfortunately cold. But could be an isolated issue. Way too tired to try and figure it out.
