LOVED staying at The Loft! We were in the private apartment but always felt part of the hostel. The location was awesome, within walking distance of all the cool places the staff recommended - their personalised maps made our trip!

This hostel was amazing!!! Staff took the time to do a private orientation to the city right upon arrival. It felt like home! Amazing atmosphere and people. Best sleep I had in eastern europe

I had the best hostel experience at The Loft. The atmosphere encourages so much mingling! I made so many new friends and travel buddies, which can sometimes be exactly what you need when traveling alone. Great location in the center of Budapest as well. The facilities are easy to share with others and the entire building is more like an apartment than a hostel. Staff is really helpful and fun! Jasmina and Sheldon made my stay unforgettable!

I loved this hostel! Everyone there kept saying it was the best hostel they had ever stayed at. It's a great atmosphere- everyone got to know each other, groups of people staying there went out together, and the staff are so friendly and helpful! They had out together their own version of a map of Budapest that had all the places they liked. They have tons of movies you can watch if you feel like staying in one night, or there was always someone wanting to drink or go out. Highly recommended!

A truly amazing hostel! Comfy, personal, home-like atmosphere. Great location. Couldnt of asked for a better staff. Jasmina and Sheldon are 2 of thee coolest people..icing on the cake to this great hostel and experience!!

Best hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff were fantastic and it has such a home-like feel. It was comfortable, clean, fun and so relaxed. The way the hostel is structured is such that everyone can hang out together and you make friends from all over the world so easily! I was so upset to be leaving and could not have asked for a better experience

we had the best time we slept one night in a shared room in the 2 nights in a private one.It was great fun! very clean everybody was very helpful and Budapest is an amazing city!

Had the best time ever at this hostel. Was very centrally located so everything is walkable. The staff were exceptionally helpful with getting the most out of budapest. Everyone was friendly and I was always chatting with someone new in the kitchen. Lots of friendly banter. Loved it.

The location and the atmosphere were outstanding. At first the staff were a little stand-offish but warmed up on the fourth and the fifth day. They don't share personal information but found out a lot about Jasmine, Sheldon and Ferfi-- all real interesting people. They are careful about letting strangers in the place so I felt very secure. Generous in providing coffee tea and left-over snacks from other people, ( Older traveler), .

Excellent hostel with loads of character, great atmosphere and well located. Trully gives off that homey feeling that is so rare to find in hostels. Can't reccomend it enough And before I forget Jasmina was amazing, really made the stay complete.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at! The staff go out of their way to help you out, nearly the entire hostel ended up going out for beers, conversation and enjoying the warm evening together on a whim. Highly recommended for solo travellers looking for like minded individuals to explore the city, sit beside the river and live a slow life.

Amazing hostel! I was not the only one who extended my stay. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, huge lounge area, location was tops. The fun staff and adventurous guests made staying in Budapest like home away from home. A great place for solos to meet fellow travelers. Great vibe, I'm **definitely** staying here next time I come to Budapest!! Thanks Loft!!

Easily the best hostel I've stayed at. It was a great place to meet wonderful people as a solo female traveler -- so much so I extended my stay an extra few nights! The staff really set the tone for the whole place, it really did feel like home! They even give you a homemade map of places they recommend in the area and make sure there is always someone around to answer questions. I'd go back anytime!
