Great place to stay, really cool and helpful staff! Location was perfect and place had real character :)

Amazing place, would def recommend it to all my friends and stay there again myself. feels like you are living in the city and not just visiting like in a hotel. right downtown and close to some amazing restaurants, they give you great suggestions for food and ideas on how to see the most of the city!!

Loved the loft :) Doing a RTW trip and this is the first 100% rating given. Everything you need is there, great spot, staff very helpful, offer great advice and are very socail. Would come back anyday, not a huge hostel but I liked that about it.

I had a wonderful stay at the Loft Hostel. Andrew and Gina were lovely hosts and they were very helpful and informative. It has a a very homely feel to it and it was easy to get to know others and go out all together. Highly recommend!

The 8 bed dorm is quite good as it is the biggest room I ever been to for an 8 bed room. Unfortunately the pillow and blanket was so thin you might as well use a 2 t-shirts as a pillow. The cleanliness can be better too. I like the location because in the morning or(and) afternoon you can head down to the food market down the road for some cheap hungarian grub. It's close to the gellert bath but I would recommend the one at the city park instead.

Really nice atmosphere to this hostel - the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful and make you feel at home. Nice location near the Market Hall and close to transport. Beds are comfy and rooms have a nice airy feel to them. Good kitchen facilites and access to internet. Thanks!!

Excellent Hostel! Staff are really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is great (small hostel, cosy living room where you can chat with the other guests). Everything is clean, there is free wifi, kitchen, ... I would certainly come back here!

A beautiful setting!!!A bright wooden loft in a gorgeous nostalgic old building (it reminded me a bit of old Italy or Portugal style). The staff was really helpful..even a 20 minutes welcome chat with indication of all the main attractions and handy tips!! Chance to go out at night with the other guys which is good if you travel on your own..but still very quite in the bedrooms. Ask the guys about a caving experience!!IT WAS AMAZING!! I'VE LOVED IT!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!:D:D

The Loft Hostel is the best hostel I have stayed at in Europe! It is centrally located, walking distance to anything worth doing in Budapest. The warm atmosphere makes you feel like you are staying with friends rather than a hostel. The staff are the epitome of friendliness, always willing to offer advice on where to go and things to do. I would recommend this hostel to each and every person travelling to Budapest. Marv

Just great! Amazing building and location and super staff who took us out for a great night. The double room is a bargain - you get an amazing apartment right next to the hostel, but you still can hang out in the hostel which has a very communal feel. Duff was very helpful and we will definitely stay there when we go back to Budapest, which we definitely will be doing soon!

Had a great few days at the Loft Hostel. Gina & Andrew, the hostel staff were fantastic. They provided a great amount of advice to anyone who asked and were always available to talk to and share stories. The facilities in the hostel itself were excellent, bedding was comfy and the showers, hot and pressurised! Would def recommend the Loft to anyone going to Budapest!

This hostel was great. It is at the top of an active apartment building, so you'll get a flavor of *authentic* Hungarian life. Lounge had DVDs and squashy couches. Staff was friendly and provided a very useful comprehensive map of the area. Within walking distance of the Great Market, the river, Vaci Utca, and other attractions. The private double was actually a small apartment (had a kitchen!) just outside the main hostel. Rooms were clean and towels for rent for free. Would def recommend! :)

The Loft Hostel is one of the best hostels where I have stayed! It has a very comfortable atmosphere, great team & guests, made me feel at home immediately. Thanks for the awesome time, Gina, Ferci and Andrew! I´ll come back soon!

The hostel is at a really convinient location. The atmosphere is really good. Andrew and Gina are so nice people. I like the map provided by the hostel, very useful! Anyway, I had a really great time staying here.

Great location, STELLAR set up, and Duff and Gina are the greatest people in the world! I've never felt so welcome to a place, let alone a hostel, ever. We were immediately given a city orientation, offered coffee and tea, and introduced to other guests staying there! Everything that I was recommended to do, or any place we were told to eat at blew away my expectations. Thanks soo much Gina and DUff, and loft hostel for the time in Budapest. I would go there again in a second!

I've never enjoyed myself more than I did at Loft hostel. The staff were amazing, the hostel had the best vibe imaginable. It was so cosy, the dorms all lead to the lounge room and the kitchen areas so everyone just hangs out together which is so nice. This hostel made my whole trip.

This was one of the best hostels I have stayed at. Great location, clean, and really good common area for meeting people. It´s a lot of fun, but not a party hostel. The owner was really great also. You will have a great time staying at this hostel if you like to hang out and meet new people. I highly recommend it and would stay here again.
