Best hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff were fantastic and it has such a home-like feel. It was comfortable, clean, fun and so relaxed. The way the hostel is structured is such that everyone can hang out together and you make friends from all over the world so easily! I was so upset to be leaving and could not have asked for a better experience

By far one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! The atmosphere is relaxed yet fun and the place has a great layout which makes it very comfortable and homely. The location is perfectly ideal. Having the grand market close by was brilliant (Loft has great kitchen) and it's situated in an area that allows you to take in all the main attractions of the city by short walk; best bars also. The staff at The Loft were incredible! Sheldon and Jasmina were hilarious and very helpful. All in all ace

Had the best time ever at this hostel. Was very centrally located so everything is walkable. The staff were exceptionally helpful with getting the most out of budapest. Everyone was friendly and I was always chatting with someone new in the kitchen. Lots of friendly banter. Loved it.

The location and the atmosphere were outstanding. At first the staff were a little stand-offish but warmed up on the fourth and the fifth day. They don't share personal information but found out a lot about Jasmine, Sheldon and Ferfi-- all real interesting people. They are careful about letting strangers in the place so I felt very secure. Generous in providing coffee tea and left-over snacks from other people, ( Older traveler), .

During my stay I don't think there was a single person who stayed for as short of a time as they had planned. Everyday there was at least once person asking to extend their reservation. Some people planned on staying for a few nights and ended up staying for over a week.

Excellent hostel with loads of character, great atmosphere and well located. Trully gives off that homey feeling that is so rare to find in hostels. Can't reccomend it enough And before I forget Jasmina was amazing, really made the stay complete.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at! The staff go out of their way to help you out, nearly the entire hostel ended up going out for beers, conversation and enjoying the warm evening together on a whim. Highly recommended for solo travellers looking for like minded individuals to explore the city, sit beside the river and live a slow life.

Amazing hostel! I was not the only one who extended my stay. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, huge lounge area, location was tops. The fun staff and adventurous guests made staying in Budapest like home away from home. A great place for solos to meet fellow travelers. Great vibe, I'm **definitely** staying here next time I come to Budapest!! Thanks Loft!!

Easily the best hostel I've stayed at. It was a great place to meet wonderful people as a solo female traveler -- so much so I extended my stay an extra few nights! The staff really set the tone for the whole place, it really did feel like home! They even give you a homemade map of places they recommend in the area and make sure there is always someone around to answer questions. I'd go back anytime!

Thanks Jasmina and Emilie for being awesome hosts. The Loft felt like a home away from home, with hosts that took the time out to talk to you and make you feel comfortable from the start. The rooms and facilities were clean and secure. The location was excellent. Thanks again for your hospitality and flexibility with my late checkout. This hostel is an example of what all hostels should be like, one that puts the traveller first. It is definitely up there with the best!

At first, the building and rickety elevator got us worried about what we would expect upstairs, but it was so charming and everyone was so friendly and welcoming, including the other guests! Perfect location, free tea, and there were even two double beds in the 8 person room for the lucky two that claimed them first! Plus there were huge lockers with locks on them that we were able to keep all our valuables in. I would definitely recommend to a friend!
