Formerly Mahaffy's, The Lombard Townhouse has been carefully renovated to reflect the charm of historical Dublin, while still the vibrancy of today's modern, lively city.
Our beautiful en-suite rooms have all been designed to high specifications and are equipped with flat-screen TVs, complimentary toiletries, hairdryers and hospitality trays. Soundproofing and orthopaedic beds in each room guarantee a great night's sleep.
A full Irish breakfast is included in the rates, and our great restaurant offers a wide range of meals and light dishes, from salads and wraps to the signature Lombard Grilled Steakburger.
Once a tea room popular with the elite of Trinity College, nowadays The Lombard Townhouse opens its doors to visitors from all walks of life. On-street or private parking is available for 10 a day.

Can not possibly provide German claims to the isolation of the windows you. Despite maximum heating power, it was only moderately warm in the rooms especially the bathroom. But it was nice warm blankets (large, as is usual in Anglo-American countries). The decor was very modern and tasteful and great location. Although dirket lived above the pub was quiet, except for the road noise, but the must also be expected in the city center. Definitely recommended.
