This place has a lot of character; however the rooms could use some updating. Our room had cracks and molds on the walls. The bathroom wasn't that great either.

Very nice place to stay. Lovely staff (those of which I spoke to). Food and drink is somewhat more pricey than the rest of the area, but still very affordable. Location a bit of a downside, but very rarely a problem, as frequent tuk tuks are very helpful.

The social intention behind the hostels organisation was very attractive for me as a foreigner. Thus I had the feeling to contribute to social development through my traveling

Great hostel , great fun! The staff is super friendly, the food is very good (a bit pricey but so worth it) and the location is good. The beds are large and comfy! One of the best hostels we stayed at in Cambodia!

Great hostel for meeting other travelers! Rooms are nice, the air conditioning is good, showers are clean. Staff is very well-informed and great at helping to set up future accommodation elsewhere in the city or at the next place you're headed. Good shuttle and bus service connections. Food is a little expensive by Phnom Penh standards, but you're sure to meet people if you stick around for a couple meals. The bar is very chill. Their sister hostel in Siem Reap is even better.

Polite, helpful local staff, owners rather unfriendly (apart from Steve). Rather 'cliquey' which was disappointing given our great experience in Siem Reap. Excellent food and free water is a real bonus in the cambodian heat. Toilets were smelly and the roof top rooms are up a set of rather dodgy steps (careful after a few drinks!). Walking distance to Tuol Sleng S21 museum. All in all, a good base for seeing the main parts of PP and if you miss western cafes, Costa Coffee is minutes away.

Cool hostel with a party vibe. The food is deadly, we ate there quite a lot and it never disappointed. The tuk tuk's associated with the hotel are great craic but have a read of the mad monkey guidebook on recommended prices as you still need to haggle.

The 20 bed dorm is very spacious. The beds are big and comfy. Good location, clean place, good food and good cocktails. Staff is awesome! As mad as the monkey can be!

Staff were very friendly, but didn't know how to react when we gave actual critique on the food. Rooms were decent, although walls were thin.

Great hostel, except for the ~100 bed bug bites I got in (private) room #2 after 1 night's sleep. I didn't get the impression it was a problem elsewhere. Helpful staff though. Just avoid this room or any rooms adjacent.

Had a blast here, the roof top bar makes it really easy to meet people. Free shots every night. Hostel room was good with air con. only qualm was the staff - usually there is about 6 staff members in the foyer, but it's extremely hard to get attention, and some of them make u feel like you are a hassle to them.

I love the chill vibe. It's so relaxing and tuktuks outside make it an ease to move around Phnom Penh. The food is good too :)

A drinkers hostel pure and simple. Not worthy of a negative review, because if you are after this type of stay it would probably be good for you. If you are on the fence I'd say look elsewhere. Everything seems overpriced and underequipped, except the bar which is cheap and well stocked. Disappointed in the food which is budget-home-cooked style but not cheap by SEAsian standards, fair quality. Hostel does have a good party atmosphere and is quite popular. Far too catered to westerners for us.
