The staff is nice and helpful, the location great close to all the principal buses and the metro, one street of Ipanema, bathroom clean, air conditionaring in the rooms, a full equip kitchen, good breakfast, nice atmosphere, nothing wrong.

this is a great hostel and i definitely recommend it for those who want to stay in rio. its literallly one block away from post 9 of the ipanema beach, beds are clean has a locker and a towel and staff are super friendly and willing to help, except one blond guy who was super rude but other than that everyone is super cool. i met a lot of great people here!

The best loc of any hostel in rio. If u want a beach break. Some of the staff were very friendly, tho others were not so polite and outwardly helpful. Overall tho a gr8 choice for rio.

Really enjoyed staying at the mango tree- fantastic atmosphere and awesome location! There was also a generous brekkie which is always a plus! Definitely recommend!

there was a MASSIVE cockroach in my room. I don't balme the hostel though as it comes with the city. Still, quite disgusting!

Great Location, nice people and excellent breakfast in the best City ever!!! Only one little thing that bothered me: there was a mix up with my room number on the frontdesk, someone from the nightshift woke me up in the middle of the night, telling me to switch rooms....which I of course declined (4 a.m.)!!!! So I changed the room the next day and everything was fine, but the waking up part was really weird! Stil liked the Hostel very much!
