Great hotel with very nice staff and the location was close to both the beach and the nightlife/shoppingarea! We would definetly stay here if we're going back to Phuket.

The Marq is great and near to many small local eateries so you don't feel like you're being cheated. Rooms were super clean and atmosphere is good. My only complaint is that the staff (the lady who checks you in) is quite rude and took super long to return us our deposit.

Despite booking a double room we were given a twin with no apology or resolution; instead the manager bombarded us with various excuses and we were basically told to 'like it or lump it'. However, the hotel its self is pretty much flawless, clean (although we did spy a rat in the lobby area), modern rooms with good facilities. They just need to brush up on their people skills.

Fantastic hostel, really clean, cool decor, very comfortable and staff were super friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here...
