Great hostel, great atmosphere, great staff, i passed a couple of beautiful night. Rooms are clean and tidy, you can eat any sort of local and international food and the beach is right in front. Did the activities and the pub crawl with the italian guy it was great he knows perfectly the city and he is nice and funny. Highly recommended.
Very nice welcoming (5 stars went to staff), thanks! The key-deposit should be managed better though.
Location right across from the beach, and next to a bus stop, makes it convenient as heck. Doors aren't locked at all, and no security checking on the front door, may make you a little nervous by balance. Come with a relaxed attitude for best results!
Great hostel! Right at the beach, and less far from the city centre than I thought, only a 20 minutes walk. I really liked the fact that they have a terrace, where they serve food and where it's easy to meet other travelers who'll hang out there for a drink or food in the evening. The bathroom is a bit old but serves its purpose. The staff was very friendly, I had a good time in this hostel.
most of it was ok but not a lot to do at night.
Great hostel right by a (by Malaga's standards) great and quieter beach. Perfect to laze in the sun then pop back over for beers in the hostel's courtyard. All staff speak english and other languages. One staff member - Sara, is amazingly helpful for both Malaga and other places in Andulacia and a great cook - dinner at the hostel is huge! The buses to town are easy and quick.
The location on the beach is wonderful. Definitely
Our staying at this hostels was all an experience, only one day but we are absolutely coming back! You feel like home there, the staff help you with everything you need, they prepare great dinners and the terrace in the afternoon is an excelent place to meet interesting people and enjoy the nice weather of Málaga. We loved Málaga and The Melting Pot, totally recommended!

Super friendly staff made this a wonderful and relaxing stay.
An amazing hostel right on the beach. A good group of diverse travellers were attracted to the hostel which created a great atmosphere. Would definitely look to return to this hostel.
Well i have mixed feelings about the hostel. It is located great next to the beach, you can't see it, but its a very short walk. And it has a wonderful terrace that gets very lively in the evenings if the right kind of people is visiting the hostel. Staff was friendly. However the whole organization was a little strange, i never got a key, so i could go in and out of the dorm room without it, wich makes you feel a little insecure. They do offer lockers for valuables though so i guess that is ok.
Everything was perfect, people, the place, was clean. A good place to stay in Málaga
Beautiful patio! Lovely staff and great location right on the beach.

The place is really amazing because you can find the beach right in front of the hostel, it would only takes less than 15 secondes to get there. Moreover, the staff is reallly outgoing and friendly (especially the new cleaner) and i'd like to add something else : this hostel is genuily clean i could seriously eat on the floor.
the hostel is right at the beach. there is s big street between the hostel and the beach so it was loud at night with the window open. it's about a 20 min walk away from the city. unfortunaltelly the beds were very poor. the metal beds moved a lot when one was turning and were very loud. the mattraces you could feel in your back.
Friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Having the beach right across the street was perfect and the walk into the main part of the city isn't bad. I was in an 8 person bedroom and had a great experience at The Melting Pot, i'd definitely go again. Just don't eat the dinner they offer at night- you're better off going out.
We stayed a the Melting Pot Tarifa for just one night and had a really good time! Beds weren't ready when we came--- so we got beers for free as long as it took the staff to prepare them... Only negative point: the room where we left the luggage during the day (before we could check in) wasn't locked and somebody searched my pack...
Great location! Right across the street from the beach!

We had a double room which was tiny, not very clean, without AC and the bed was horrible (worn out mattress). The bathroom was ok, tiny showercabin. there was only one socket in the room, which we needed for the fan. the staff was ok. the kitchen was good and the terrace was quite nice, but there were many old beds and things around. The best at the hostel is the location (if you want to be near the beach) because the beach is just on the other streetside. You could make more of the hostel
