Though the staff did seem friendly, one of the members decided that while cleaning out the room for the new hostel guests he'd put my bag outside where anyone had access to it. It ended up sitting in the hot sun until I got back for the day. When I walked into my room looking for it, I had to ask two different people before I could actually locate it. Not only that, but because of this my jacket was stolen and who knows what else.

They keep playing loud, bad pop music in the common area that kind of ruins the chance of good vibes. And it's located right next to a busy road between the beach and the hostel. Other than that, the owner is very nice and also a good cook. You get a lot of food for a good price.

I would only recommend this hostel if you're in college and like to party. I was in a four bed room in the basement, right below the kitchen and common area, and it was super noisy until 2 a.m., and again at 6 a.m. when the bars closed. Since the room was in the basement, it was cold, dark, and smelled a bit mildewed. The positives are that the staff members were all very nice and it's near to the beach. It's not very close to the city but there's a bus stop out front with frequent service.

This hostel was really nice and cozy, with everyone hanging out together on the back patio. The rooms were nice and the showers clean, although it did run out of hot water quite fast. The staff is the nicest you can get and the dinners are really good!

Great little hostel close to the beach (it's actually across the street from it but the walk is like 50 yards). Not necessarily the best place for a couple as it is a "melting pot", but good for those travelers looking to meet other 20somethings.

One of the best hostels. The facilities aren't amazings, but the staff and the atmosphre make everything perfect. The value for money is excellent. I'd love to stay longer.

The hostel is a very nice place, very clean and George, the big boss, is a gentleman. In front of the beach and very clean, I strongly recomend this hostel in Malaga.

Spittle further from the city centre than i thought, but right across from the beach and also a bus stop right out front, going to/from centre (~7 min ride). Breakfast included, huge kitchen to use and grocery store across the street. Very nice staff. Wish it had been busier, but just the luck of the draw that there was a school trip staying there so most of the beds were occupied by them. Huge patio to tan on all day long, protected from the wind.

George, the big boss, is such a lovely person! He made our stay feel very special, we felt like home right away. And his beautiful dinners! We couldn't have asked for more, and all this was so cheap. Thank you so much for everything and see you soon hopefully!

Maybe because it is winter, but there were some weird older people staying at the hostel. The facilities were pretty good, nevertheless It reminded me of a homeless shelter. Location was not the best for sightseing, but it is definitely a good value for money

Great staff and facilities. Friendly people all in all. Plenty of activities and right next to the beach. Would be nice if they bothered cleaning other places than the floor once in a while.

Amazing place with a great, friendly owner and staff. Only problem is he charges 5 euros for washing and 5 euros for drying clothes. The culture of the hostel is excellent, and I enjoyed my 2 weeks in Malaga!

Despite its high ratings, I was disappointed by this hostel. Some staff were friendly, others were downright rude. Two rooms were joined together, making it impossible to get to the lockers or bathroom without passing through the and waking others up. Although clean, the rooms were also rather shabby. The hostel is close to a few cafes and a supermarket, but located very far from town and on a noisy main road. Perhaps the atmosphere is completely different in summer, but I wouldn't recommend.

i arrived traveling alone on new years eve and was blown away by the atmosphere, such friendly staff and a great vibe. clean, hot showers, big patio, breakfast was typical hostel, but for 8 euro it's a deal. a little bit out of center of town, since i arrived at night i took the bus, but i think you could walk from town if you wanted. great location RIGHT across from the beach, beautiful sunsets/rises!
