So chill. The rooftop terrace + bar is one of the best places to hang out and meet other people. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are also a lot of bright colors so everything feels exciting. Mateo's the boss.

I liked the place, but just think that it could be cleaner. But I enjoyed staying there very much.

We really enjoyed our time at the Melting Pot, both in Cadiz and in Tarifa. They were both small and everyone we met was friendly

Fantastic staff and a great location. This sounds really boring, but I loved the fact that the terrace closed at midnight... If you wanted to carry on drinking, you could go out, and if you wanted to go to bed, the hostel was lovely and quiet!

Great place to meet people and practise Spanish! The staff are brilliant, really helpful, and the atmosphere is great. Nothing to do with The Melting Pot specifically BUT, I would assume that if you knew you snored like a train, an elephant and a camel, all 3 at once, you would NOT book yourself into a 12 bed mixed dorm! Right? Wrong! As a consequence, I and at least several others, got absolutely no sleep that night. 7 hours of torture for €14 is not good value! Unfortunately.

Everything was all right except one thing - the elevator was not working and there are 3 floors and the common room is on the 3rd one. :)

The layout of the hostel doesn't allow for creating a certain atmosphere but there is nothing that can be done about that. But one thing that could be improved is the beds. I've stayed in many wooden framed beds that do not squeak or move much when people turn. Your metal beds could be improved. Maybe painting the dorms a bit darker would provide a more homely feel as well. Apart from that, everything was fine - staff, location and top floor/bar area was very nice.

I had a great time in this hostel, the people I met were fantastic. Definitely a good choice, perfect location. I stayed in a 10 bed room and I just wish the bathroom was attended to more often.

Not enough toilets and bathrooms, very close to the city centre. Poor lighting in the room (no bed-lamp)

Everything was nice and clean. All of the staff I met were very friendly. The rooftop bar looked fun although we didn't use it. Spacious 5 bed mixed dorm.
