Very nice hostel.bcoz it is just next to the beach.relaxing environment. Don't trust the photos, actually the hostel is not really in front of the beach. in reality, it is separated by a road and some trees.. Kitchen is very spacious. the hostel is quit small. The negative part of this hostel: located quite far away from city center, which require us to take bus , compared to other hostels in which are nearer and just walking distance from the city attractions.if you are driving a car, it's ok!

Best location right on the beach! And a nice 20min walk or a 10min bus into town, very easy. The staff are all super friendly and cook up a mean (cheap) food and some excellent mojitos. Breakfast also provided with a sweet outside courtyard. Probably the best hostel I have stayed at in my 7 months in Europe. Also went on the free walking tour with Catherine, definitely worth it. Learnt some cool facts and got to know the city a bit better too.

Very pleasing hostel, with a great dinner option at €6 for a large plate of food. Free breakfast included, though it is only toast and jam so I would recommend buying your one food and cooking it there. There is a SuperSol mercado nearby, so grocery shopping is easy. Situated a bit of a walk outside Malaga centro, but the digs justify the added walking time. You also get to see more of the city that way. A good value overall.

I paid more to be in a 4 person room (instead to the larger rooms) but I ended up being in a cold basement - I think this room should not be 16 euros! the location was great for beach access! (but if you are looking for accessibility to and from the airport, or to the nightlife - it is not the best place) Also, Kathryn from the walking tour was excellent! Would recommend doing that tour if you come to Malaga.

The hostel was wonderful-- a very welcoming and relaxed environment and just across the street from the beach! The staff were really helpful with everything and the food was excellent and super cheap! Also, Katherine from Pancho Tours gave us an amazing FREE tour of the city! Great experience.

This is an amazing hostel! The staff are hilarious, helpful, and friendly! It is located literally on the beach and has pretty views from the patio. We stayed in the yellow room, and the only drawbacks were that it shares a wall with the kitchen and also the common room so it was kind of loud in the morning, and without enough blankets it was cold in the room that night because of so many windows. I imagine not all the rooms are like that, though, since they are in different locations.

A big locker for the backpacks would be good. But the rest of the Hostel was perfect!

The staff from the hostel is great, they are very helpfull and cool. The hostel is big, has a nice kitchen and an awsome balcony where you can have your meals. It's preatty clean too. It is a bit far from downtown but nothing that you can't walk till there or find a busstop just behind the hostel. I also have done the free walking tour with Katerina from Pacho Tours where I learned a lot from Málaga, their way of living and traditions. Have only to say THANKS A LOT FOR ALL OF YOU GUYS!!!

PROS: Great value for money. Nice courtyard. Staff are great. Food and bar is great. Huge kitchen. CONS: It's rare that it rains in Malaga but when it does, some water seeps into our room. Location is far from any city centre but if you want the beach, you definitely get that.

Hostel was had great atmoshpere and an amazing common room and staff. We were a little scared about security when we first arrived, the front door was open and the staff were in the back doig somthing. For us we had just herd stories about hostels getting broken into and this seemed like an easy target. But we stayed for a couple nights and relized it was fairly safe, would maybe recomend new lockers that guests could use their own locks on.

I travel alone but at the Melting Pot Hostel I met a lot of people and even made a few new friends. The staff were so so nice, it's situated right on the beach which makes it an ideal summer stay. The bathrooms were pretty filthy but that was because the showers were badly oriented, and it IS noisy so I would not recommend it if you're looking to get a good night's sleep. But it's the place to go to if you're looking to have fun.

The hostel itself was very nice, it was clean and the staff were all really friendly. Right on the beach so it would be a perfect hostel to stay at over the summer but being there off-season was kind of quiet. Overall really nice place though.

Location, food, drinks were all amazing. The location was absolutely perfect- right along the beach. They played loud, top 40 music all day, which made for a fun atmosphere. Drinks/food were generous, and great prices! The staff could have been more engaging- they were all a little withdrawn, and not particularly helpful. The laundry service was poor- we paid for a load of laundry, and when we came to retrieve our clothes they were still damp and smelt worse than before they were washed.

Great place to socialize! Nice patio, good bar with XL cocktails, tasty food in the evening. The staff is friendly. Cons: noise from the two streets, creepy beds. But if you go to the pub crawl, you usually don't care! :)
