I've stayed there twice and every time I end up meeting new people and having a great time. It's a bit far from the city center (20-30 min walk) but right on the beach. You do get some pretty bad sewer smells from time to time, but the hostel itself is lovely with a big terrace and a big kitchen. The staff is always eager to help out (I was cold my first night so George gave me a second blanket) and there's a delicious home-cooked meal like paella with barbecue every night.

As soon as we arrived the atmosphere was amazing, the location , so close to the beach. Staff were above and beyond with friendliness and helpfulness. We travelled for 1 month in numerous countries and this stay was the highlight of our trip. Bonus was they provided suppers if you choose to partake in them. We did and were truly satisfied, it was the best value for the money we spent. And the Ice cold drinks that were served at the bar were also very satisfying. Mother and Daughter Canada

A wonderful stay. Pleasant part of town, good food and a friendly bunch who work there. The beach is close, if you're into that sort of thing. They cook wonderful food and lots of it.

Great stay! George is fantastic and a great cook! good information about malaga and around, its 2 miles out pf centre so had to get bus every day on the plus side its a nice walk down the beach to the centre.bar avaliable when you want it and very resonable prices. they provide a woderful dinner every night.rooms a bit cold in the winter months so ask for a heater in the room. very clean! will be worth a visit in the summer months as it has a sun lounge area at the back.

Wonderful stay. A little chilly at night, but no complaints other than that. Friendly and helpful staff. Very welcoming and always willing to give travel tips and assist with finding things to do.

A very nice place and welcoming owner/staff. Beautiful location and view. I felt very comfortable there. Though it was a bit cold in the room, they found a heater for us. A very big and nice kitchen, open 24 hours, as well as receptioin. I´d love to go there in summer as the beach is just across the road. A bit noisy froim the traffic on the road and it could be noisier when windows are kept open. A bit strange bed sheets - seem to be made from old curtains.

Very nice hostel.bcoz it is just next to the beach.relaxing environment. Don't trust the photos, actually the hostel is not really in front of the beach. in reality, it is separated by a road and some trees.. Kitchen is very spacious. the hostel is quit small. The negative part of this hostel: located quite far away from city center, which require us to take bus , compared to other hostels in which are nearer and just walking distance from the city attractions.if you are driving a car, it's ok!

Best location right on the beach! And a nice 20min walk or a 10min bus into town, very easy. The staff are all super friendly and cook up a mean (cheap) food and some excellent mojitos. Breakfast also provided with a sweet outside courtyard. Probably the best hostel I have stayed at in my 7 months in Europe. Also went on the free walking tour with Catherine, definitely worth it. Learnt some cool facts and got to know the city a bit better too.

Very pleasing hostel, with a great dinner option at €6 for a large plate of food. Free breakfast included, though it is only toast and jam so I would recommend buying your one food and cooking it there. There is a SuperSol mercado nearby, so grocery shopping is easy. Situated a bit of a walk outside Malaga centro, but the digs justify the added walking time. You also get to see more of the city that way. A good value overall.

I paid more to be in a 4 person room (instead to the larger rooms) but I ended up being in a cold basement - I think this room should not be 16 euros! the location was great for beach access! (but if you are looking for accessibility to and from the airport, or to the nightlife - it is not the best place) Also, Kathryn from the walking tour was excellent! Would recommend doing that tour if you come to Malaga.

The hostel was wonderful-- a very welcoming and relaxed environment and just across the street from the beach! The staff were really helpful with everything and the food was excellent and super cheap! Also, Katherine from Pancho Tours gave us an amazing FREE tour of the city! Great experience.

This is an amazing hostel! The staff are hilarious, helpful, and friendly! It is located literally on the beach and has pretty views from the patio. We stayed in the yellow room, and the only drawbacks were that it shares a wall with the kitchen and also the common room so it was kind of loud in the morning, and without enough blankets it was cold in the room that night because of so many windows. I imagine not all the rooms are like that, though, since they are in different locations.
