simply said, one of the best hostels (or any sort of accommodation) I've ever been: staff very caring, friendly & helpful. I can only recommend it and sure I'll come back

Loved this hostel! Such a beautiful place with an awesome roof top. Great for meeting people and nice location
No other option in Tangier, but the hostel is fine. Location is difficult to find at first, as in any Medina, but once you find it (use the Hotel Continental as a landmark) you won't have any more problems. All the locals in the area are friendly, they simply just want 10-20 Durhams to show you to your destination or a tour of the Medina. You can say no. Hostel is a bit run down, but the staff were very nice, the roof terrace is beautiful and bathrooms/showers are clean enough. Good hostel.
Had a great night at the end of a Berber holy period with an excellent meal cooked by the staff in a traditional style. A very local atmosphere with the neighbours regularly shouting over to offer food or for a chat! Very helpful and friendly staff and a great breakfast in the morning.
It was really good! Gracias!

I was there with a friend. We both think it was a cool hostel. Close to the ferry, equipped with a kitchen and a roofterrace and three floors. We had a lot of fun with other people there. There is free wifi and computers, the staff speaks english and spanish, so this was an advantage for us. You could pay in euros. We liked it. The only distubring things were the kids and people waiting in front of the hostel to show you the city and toget some money for it. But thats not the hostel's fault.
Very cool hostel in a very cool (but hard to find) location. The rooftop deck was awesome - we met a lot of other cool travelers up there. We felt safe but the hostel wasn't "clean" in - the floor of our room was covered in dust/dirt. The beds were comfortable enough, and the room had a nice ceiling fan that kept us quite cool, as our room did not have a window. The only downside for us was the price - it is the most expensive place we stayed in Morocco. Receptionists were VERY helpful.
Great place overall, but not for light sleepers. The open floor plan of the building makes it noisy until everyone is asleep.
Bit intimidating on arrival as the streets are so chaotic, but little kids showed us the way for free. Great building and terrace, first hostel I've ever been to where I've heard good music! The staff are all really friendly and gentle and the owner Luis is amazing. Simple yet filling breakfast with naan bread, jams and tea. The medina can be confusing to navigate sometimes but the staff can help you out. Would stay here if I ever came back to tanger, and recommend anyone else to do the same!
All staffes are very friendly, kind to help us to stay with comfort, especially Rada and Marian are really nice. Rooms are clean and also it's reasonable to stay, There are each own lockers in the room, so we don't worry about being stolen much. Also, we have really good rooftop, so we can enjoy rooftop life there watching sunrise, and sunset.
Really beautiful building in the medina. Confusing to get to just because the medina is a maze but there wasn't any real problem. The terrace bar is beautiful and fun. Met a lot of great people.
Easy to locate and very near to the ferry terminal. A comfy place with helpful staff. Less than 10mins walk to all the main attractions.
Maryam is the best! She's really alive and always happy to help you. She suggest me to have pizza at Oslo, and it was really good. Definitely a recommended hostel when you're in Tangier! Though the hostel's location is easy to find, the streets look pretty creepy... and dark. But it is safe.
Would have been a great stay if they did not mess up the booking and confirmed me when they were closed. I stayed the day after and only gave me a 10% discount.
We only stayed one night as we were passing through from Essaouira to Sevilla, but this was a nice little hostel. There are many levels, the top of which is a terrace overlooking the port. Free breakfast and coffee/Moroccan tea was great and the staff were very helpful. Once we were there we wanted to book a second night because it was a nice chilled place, but unfortunately it was booked out. The beds and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Very modern feel for a Medina hostel.
If you had a room near reception it got very loud so couldn't sleep until the reception closed but other than that it was great!
Conveniently located inside the medina and less than 10mins slow walk from the ferry/port. Helpful staff and there is a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea.
Only hostel in tangier, good place to meet other travellers, but could be a bit cleaner.
Nice place to stay in, good atmosphere and very nice and helpfull staff.
Pretty good hostel, close to the port if you're only here for a night. Rooms are clean and large enough, kitchen and roof top terrace are a plus. Pretty sure the receptionist was higher than most people in the medina, so be prepared to be patient.
