Excellent choice. Very happy. Amazing and huge house located inside the Medina! Great staff too!

The staff was TERRIBLE! They were never at reception and gave us awful recommendations of things to do. They seemed apathetic and bothered when we asked for help. Overall, the hostel itself wasn't bad but the people working there made it a lot less enjoyable.

Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very nice. The breakfast was ok but not very fresh.

A very clean hostel with a nice vibe. The beds were comfortable and the shower was large, hot and high pressure. The lockers are not big enough to fit all your luggage but definitely large enough to fit all valuable goods. The instructions on how to get there offered on hostelworld are a little confusing. We couldn't quite work them out and then a had a man try and show us in return for payment. The location is fantastic, extremely close to the port and ferries.

Staff was incredible. Super friendly and always willing to help. I was literally in this hostel for 6 hours because of a late bus and a ridiculously early flight, but only wish I could have stayed longer. They had a taxi man waiting for me INSIDE the hostel at 4 AM - if that's not service, I don't know what is. Also a lovely kitchen and terrace for use. Only complaint is how expensive it is - dorms were more than I paid for private hotel rooms in most of Morocco! But lovely otheriwise.

A nice little spot, very clean, friendly staff! Don't trust their cab prices though, if you speak Arabic try haggling for a lower price directly with a driver, you can find them right out on the main street in front of the port.

Great hostel, a little difficult to find (as everything here:)), rooms were basic, we really appreciated lockers. Absolutely best is the roof terrace with seating with marvelous view over see and whole city, it's a nice place to hang out, drink, smoke sisha or whatever. Breakfast is basic, local bread with jam and whatever you prepare yourself. Big thank to the staff, they are good guys, they helped us with planning the whole stay, arranging for taxi etc. Recommend for sure!

Only stayed for onenight but the hostel was a pleasant introduction to Morocco. We couldn't find the place so the owner sent someone to find us and the owner also gave us a few handy tips as well as exchanged our currency. Very clean rooms, good shower and great value for money!

It's a bit difficult to navigate the medina (old town) in Tangier to find the melting pot, but once you get there the staff is absurdly helpful, the breakfast is good, the place is clean (even during remodel) and the only thing I could ask for would be extra bathrooms - thanks!

Most amazing roomy shower in all of Morocco. Oh so impressed. A really nice, well run place and I can't think of much more you'd want in a hostel. Only downside was that I had to use my last 50 durahms to pay for a key deposit before leaving Morocco, then next morning was stuck with 50 durahms and at the ferry port.

This was a very nice and safe get away from the city. The staff was great, rooms were clean and the roof top patio was great! I would go here again if I went back to Tangiers.

After being hassled by dozens of locals trying to "help" us find our hostel, arriving at Melting Pot was en enormous relief. The staff were hilarious, professional, organized, and made us feel safe right away. They're also more than willing to give you advice and help figure out the best/cheapest ways to travel within Morocco. There are secure lockers to leave your valuables, and the location is great (right by the beach/"downtown"). This hostel is well worth the (cheap!!) price!

Only complaint is that some staff could have been a liitle bit better informed about surf beaches in the area.

The staff is what made this hostel great. Thank you guys for answering all our questions, making breakfast, and arranging for us to be taken to Chaouen by the best taxi driver ever!

Fun and easy stay at the Melting Pot. Staff was helpful and courteous. They had a money exchange (Euros for Dirham) so we didn't have to pay any conversion fees. Basic breakfast, nonetheless sufficient. Especially cool to have such a comfortable environment in the midst of the medina, not always a comfortable place.
