Only stayed one night but staff were awesome and location is convenient when arriving from the ferry. Breakfast was pretty good if you like bread. Lovely roof top hang out area!
Not the best if your going to arrive at night because the medina is a bit dodgy, id be prepared to pay someone to show you the way. Nice atmosphere though and lovely terrace and kitchen upstairs.
They hace excellent people on the front desk. Ask them for taxi tour thats cheaper and with people that you can trust for sure
The Melting Pot is a beautiful oasis in the midst of all the huddle and bustle of Tangier! A beautiful traditional Moroccon building, the staff here provide all the information you need to make the most of your stay. Basic breakfast and facilities, not alot of privacy if you are a couple but great atmosphere, especially on the rooftop terrace!
Very nice hostel with a great staff. Great place to meet people. I would recommend this place to a friend.
Staff weren't the friendliest and there were no locks to the rooms. The terrace had a nice view and its not far to walk from where the taxi drops you off...beware of the kids.
Good hostel. Did the job. Kids outside were rude but whatever. :)
Although we only stayed one night in the Melting Pot, it was a very fun place to stay with a wide range of people, friendly staff and a bar below. The staff we helpful when it came to anything that was asked but the short duration of our stay does mean that we did not get a true experience of the melting pot
A safe haven in the middle of the medina chaos. A bit hard to find and hard to avoid pushy locals guiding you there (for money, of course) but once you know where it is, it's easy. Got good sleep and wasn't bothered by call to prayer. Simple yet filling breakfast.
Very difficult to find on your own, if someone offers to take you accept, its worth it. Otherwise great hostel, not far from the tangier/tariffa ferry and in the medina. The staff are very helpful
Melting Pot was in a good location and it had a very friendly vibe. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The terrace is great for hanging out, kitchen well equipped and lockers to keep stuff in. I stayed longer than planned and would go back. Recommended.
Lovely hostel in the middle of Tanger's Medina with lovely and helpful staff. It was a pleasure to stay there for 3 nights.
Great rooftop terrace, lots of opportunities to socialize. Lockers small but they locked, good kitchen, breakfast of bread and tea. Recommended!
First impact to the medina , I said myself gotta be careful round here, then I opened the hostel s door and I felt so safe, at home. Good staff was at the reception for a precious welcome , explaining all about Tangier
The best hostel we stayed in, in morrocow!
Splendid time. Difficult to find, but that honestly probably can't be avoided staying in the Medina. Great place to chill out on the roof and eat or relax.
feel at home right away. Staff takes time to give you instructions how to "handle" the city. Good view over the medina from the rooftop terras.

This hostel can be a bit hard to find. But there will always be someone there to show you the way, for money of course. I only stayed in this hostel for one night but it was probably the nicest one I stayed in while in morocco. It was clean and felt very safe. People hang out on the terrace upstairs which is nice. It´s right in the medina, so it´s in a good place to walk around. If you want a hostel in tangier, you´ll probably stay here.
Indeed difficult to find, but easier if you first go to Continental Hotel (which has more signs of which direction to go) and when you think you are close just ask!! Because the entrance is not so obvious. I arrived to Tangier's airport and had to take a taxi to the Medina, there was no train or bus!! The rooms are close to each other, so you can hear the noise in the hallway, but it was ok, there were no problems. The medina is small and the hostel is in it, so you are close to the shops!!
