The Mews in Windermere Reviews

I can't really say a bad thing about The Mews. It's near the station so it's easy to get to with your luggage. Mavis is a wonderful hostess, extremely knowledgeable and helpful about the area and the walks/activities. The breakfast is cooked according to your choice from a menu and is filling and delicious - which you need for hikes around The Lakes. The room was lovely and clean and we had a little sitting room, with tele and DVD player. Internet access too for free. Highly recommend!

nothing more to say, the nicest host i have ever met, lovely breakfast every morning, lots of choices!!! Clean room and lots of tourist information for us and from the host~ we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice!

We had the warmest of welcomes by Mavis who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, the attention to little details in the bathroom and living area were great, Breakfast was by far one the best we have eaten and we have travelled extensively,

The hosts gave me a lot of suggestions to plan my trip. They are very nice that seem as my family members. The location is very good that near to rail station and a very good view point to see a sunset.

We thought The Mews was a lovely break away from the hustle and bustle of city living. The host mavis was very welcoming and cooked a fab breakfast, Mavis also told us about the surrounding area and gave us a map for some short walks around the lake. The Mews was clean,quiet and comfortable,we have recomended it to friends and family. thanks for the stay we are both very grateful.
