We had the downstairs room and had to go upstairs to use the bathroom, which seemed a bit silly. The location is good if you are OK with a little bit of walking. The staff are really nice, helpful, and always available. We did enjoy our stay here and would stay again!

Thank you for making my time at the Midland Hostel so enjoyable! I think I had an excellent stay, and I can recommend the hostel without hesitation! Very friendly staff (and cat ;) ). All is proper and clean, so I found excellent value for money. The central living room with couches is a nice place to meet. Location is secure, with police right across the street in front of French embassy, though a walk to get downtown. Even small breakfast served, with the choice to prepare fresh omelettes!

Very great hostel! Good location, very safe, very nice cat (and she's going to have babies !!), it was almost empty as I was there (middle of the week in winter...), however the atmosphere was very good and after one evening there you feel at home, I was so sad to leave! Thank you for this great time, I hope I come back one day :)

Staff were very kind. But facilities and building of this hostel were N.G.. Very old and inconvenient. Especially ground floor's.

I really liked to stay in this place. Staff are very friendly and helpfull. The place is perfect for everything (close to old city, metro station .. ). I definitely recommend this place. Other points, price is cheap compare to other guesthouse and you have free breakfast.

the only problem was the bathroom - just one for the whole hostel. Apart of this ...the staff was nice, the atmosphere cozy and then the value for money as well, fills the pack.

I had a good time in this hostel, it's nice and warm, and the staff is very knowledgeable. Breakfast is as advertised, i made my omlette just like in my own house :) When i come back i will definitely stay here, i had a great time. Good job The Midland!

Fantastique location in the middle of Bucharest. This area is quiet and full security around, the French Embassy is in front of the hostel. I liked very much, i will reccommend it to my friends surely.
