I loved the Mitraa. It was very well located, really close Little India area and Farrer Park station. At the Mitraa you can relax in a peaceful street with an Indian ambiance and enjoy the terrace on the street decorated with plants... really pleasant after a day out discovering the city! I had a drink there every night before to sleep ;). The Staff at the Mitraa is awesome. They do whatever they can to make you have a good time in the hostel and in Singapore. Clean and big comfortable beds :)

If you seek a affordable place to stay in Singapore's hustle and bustle that's situation with in all, then Mitraa Inn is your final destination....Exceptional staff equipped with a genuine sense of humor, knowledgeable local tours with great English....A real hostel, at a competitive price, accompanied with real like minded travelers, One stop home....away from home.Be sure to say hey to an exceptional receptionist named "Dej Drawde Nosois", example of exceptional service... The place is quite good, only that if your room is near the lobby, it's quite noisy esp. when some guests are coming in. You can hear their steps, their conversations which quite distracted to the occupants. I think only that I can comment, the rest are good. The staff are so friendly and accommodating.

The staff at the front desk were fantastic and knowledgeable about the area. Very close to the MRT which was great for getting in and out of town. Very expensive for a a double room, especially as the room was tiny, stuffy and had no window. On the ground floor so noisy. The Internet was unreliable as well. Complimentary breakfast wasn't much. Cheap to get to from airport in a taxi as which was a bonus but possible to get via MRT too. Great location, great staff but pricey and a little run down.

I moved to this hostel from beary nice, and personally I enjoyed beary nice more. Jonas is really awesome though, the guys go out of their way to help you and answer all your questions. It is a bit further away from the main sites though, but is closer to the mrt station so you can take the train a couple of stops to get dhoby ghaut and switch to most lines. I would recommend if you are in a small group or looking for more of a chill place.

Good location - metro walking distance. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Free internet and breakfast was good. The only problem were the shared bathrooms. To get to the bathrooms, you have to walk past the bedrooms and the sinks are outside the bathrooms (just outside the bedrooms) so they're very noisy when others come back at 3am. The rooms were also quite small with no windows. It's a safe place for a short stay and chances are you'll be out all day exploring anyway.

It was okay. There's not much to see or to do around. But the MRT is jut a short walk away. To be honest I would recommend Chinatown to stay.

Mitraa is awesome, I had wonderful time staying there. Staff are all friendly and nice to all guests. Even though the bathroom became huge issue for me because there's no separate between male and female but eventually it was good and I enjoy spending my stay at Mitraa. ****staff are really really nice****

The Mitraa is a really nice place to stay. Highly recommended, great atmosphere and nice location. Absolutely superb! :) Facilities are clean. Rooms are spacious enough, air conditioned, large lockers for big luggages and free WiFi in the reception and some computers for rent. Breakfast is good, you can choose from peanut butter to nutella spread. Their coffee is really good too! It's location is near little India, close to the 24hr shopping center and walking distance to the train station. Yo

We thought that the staff and extremely helpful and friendly. Though we were less than impressed with the cleanliness of the toilet/shower facilities (urine all over a toilet that was not cleaned up overnight) the selection of peanut butter and nutella spreads for toast in the am made eveything ok.

At the Mitraa, you will find extremely friendly staff and accommodation for a great price. The location is great and urban, yet just distant enough to calm down after long days (and nights) out about town. A little refurbishment wouldn't hurt the hostel, though and a more homy common room might improve the atmosphere. Still, it's a great place to meet people

This hostel is very good for the price, great location and staff, clean, free breakfast and Wifi in the lobby. As long as you're wanting a budget hostel and not a 5 star hotel then I'd definitely recommend the Mitraa.
