everything is great but the key is Location, Location & Location. you can even do the 'count-down' everynight before you walking back to hostel~~~ the only down side is the breakfast which is just a coffee + a croissant
Clean room, hot shower. Nearby is Pinacoteca Brera and grocery shop. Walk to the Duomo and La Scala 10-15 minutes. Breakfast - croissants & cofe. There are no cups in the kitchen. 2 towels and shampoo 5euro. I reccomend. I was in a quadruple room with a shower.
The place is good for one night or two, but it is definetely too expensive for what they offer.
It's close to the city centre, 20 minutes walking to the Dome, there is a cleaning service every day, internet in all the rooms, but it's a little bit cold in the rooms at night.
It is an awesome hostel! You share a bathroom with one or two others, you have an own locker, it is very clean. I really didn't expect so much privacy for that less money! If you are happy with that, you should book! If you are looking for getting to know many people, you should go somewhere else! There is a place where many people could sit, but not a place for sitting together comfortably with a nice atmosphere. I really enjoyed my stay at the monestary hostel! :)
Very uncomfortable knowing my roommates may walk in while I was taking a dump because there was no lock on the bathroom door.
I loved the hostel. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the breakfast was ok.
The four-bed dorm room was quiite nice with the ensuite bathroom and huge lockers for each person. They could use bigger blankets or heating in the room because it was too cold. The breakfast was quite simple with only a criossant and terrible machine coffee but better than nothing. The ´shop´ at reception is wildly overpriced, but the location was decent. A close walk to the centre although not much right by the hostel.
20 euro deposit(refundable)(PER PERSON) are needed for bed sheets, pillow cases and blankets. You will need to make your bed despite staying in private ensuite. Breakfast was just merely a croissant per person but there are selection of drinks in the 1st floor. Kitchen is provided but 3 euros is needed if you want to purchase a set of kitchen cutlery(spoon, fork, knife). Not even a cutting knife and board was found. And the window shades in my toilet room cannot be closed. Imagine that!
Rooms are very modern and comfortable, great hostel!
The hostel was awesome! At least for two people travelling. The door to the bath couldn’t be looked so alone I would have felt a little insecure about that. And who cares about a deposit of 20 € if you’re getting it back in the end? The breakfast isn’t much but other hostels might even let you pay money for a single croissant and a hot drink. We were very happy to have chosen this hostel.
It's a really comfortable and modern place to stay at. It's also clean, the beds are placed in a way that you don't see other guests and they don't see you, so you get some extra privacy there. It's not too close to anything, but you can still get to the metro station on foot. The kitchen's not well equipped really, and breakfast's not great, so you'll probably end up preferring to have meals somewhere else. It's altogether ok, but I remember being charged for almost everything, even printing.
my room was a little cold but definitely good value for money, very clean and good wifi connection
Nice place to stay for a night or few days. Collective rooms well organised, but the heater was too much noisy. I prefered to let it off. Individual wardrobes and no surprises with extra taxes during the check-in.
Good place, in the center. But the staff is not very nice, we had to wait one hour before checking. You have to pay a deposit of twenty euros each. If you want to let your luggage, you have to pay an extra 4e. Actually, you have to pay for everything. In the bathroom, there is no soap for hands. But there are free lockers with plugs inside, which is nice.
The best stay, the breakfast was a huge croissant with good coffee, rooms were very well heated and the hot water was really hot!
The location is nice. In the dorm, it's risky for people to sleep on the top to fall down as there's no fench. It's the only hostel that charge us for baggage storage. (4 euros each regardless of the baggage size). It's kinda disappointed because their check-in time is 2 pm! (That's quite late) and check-out time is 10 am. :(
+: First impression when I got in, I felt like I was in a student residence! The hostel was nice and cosy, well situated with friendly staff. I also appreciated the commonkitchen and the laptop free of use. -: Some details such as a broken lamp in the room, no soap in the bathroom (ensuite) and the charge for living the luggages in case of a late departure. I totally recommende it! Misc: A croissant and hot drinκs for breakfast. A 20€ deposit is asked for linen (returned at check out).
