The staff is really cool and give you some advice about the touristic places, and the places to see. Just in the heart of Kaunas, near supermarket, club and good bar. ++ Recommanded

very nice hostel 10 min walk from train station, good location and comfy beds

Very nice hostel between the bus station (15' walk) and old town (also 15' walk). The hostel is located on the pedestrian street of Kaunas which is amazingly long. Staff is very friendly and gave lots of information. Comfortable beds, good showers. It's been great staying there this summer in this nice city.

I spent two nights at this hostel and I had a very nice staying here. Viktor is a very special guy, very helpful: he shows me what to visit in Kaunas and where to have breakfast, dinner and a beer (nice places!). The Monk's Bunk is the right place for a quiet holiday. it's easy to reach from the bus station and it's located in one on the most central streets of Kaunas. Very high value for money. One of the best hostels I've been until now on holidays.

Good hospitality, organization, cleaness, calm, super central.

After a week backpacking in the Baltic countries, this place was like heaven. The hostel good reputation was one of the reasons which make us stay in Kaunas. Nothing to complain about, the place is just like a hostel should be. Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean place, confortable beds, many facilities... I just realized when I checked out, that we should have spend more time with the landlord (backpacker himself) to exchange about our trip experiences. I recommand this place to

My overall impression of this hostel was excellent. It was very good value for money, with excellent facilities and and an extremely helpful staff. Moreover the hostel was close to all points of interests in Kaunas that this hostel was definetely the best choice for me. Furthermore the hostel was very safe and clean.

Location is great, on the main walking street. Staff helpful and informed, with an understanding of the areas activities and nightlife. Facilities are new, high quality kitchenware, mattresses, etc. It's a pleasant place that may make you want to extend your stay; you may be a fool to stay elsewhere.

A fantastic place to stay!! Great location, cozy common area and very clean room! Staff was always extra friendly and helpful. They gave me a lot of tips about where to eat and drink, what to see...etc Surely will come back to Monks bunk again!!

I had a really good time at the monksbunk! the staff were excellent and had great knowledge of the city! the location was great and the hostel was easy to find! the hostel was really clean and had great facilities such as a kitchen and computer and common room that was very comfy. would highly recommend you stay here when visiting kaunus!

This is a nice little hostel. It is in a good location only a 7 minute walk to old town and very close to bars and restaurants. There is also a discount provided at a local bar and restaurant if you show your key which is a nice touch. The staff were very helpful, in fact when I asked for advice about an out if town trip he searched all my buses and printe me informations and a map for free! The only downside if my stay was the fact that not many people were at the hostel so not much socialisin.

Very goog hostel wuth friendly staff. It is situated quite close to the city centre.

In winter there are not so many guests so I was alone at my room. I just spent a night on the hostel but I really like it. The guys in charge help me showing me places to eat, drink and to see.
