The Monk's Bunk is a friendly backpackers hostel: laid back, centrally located, great facilities, an awesome backpackers bar with pool table and with lots of fun activities!
Located less than a 5 minute walk away from all the sights of Tallinn's Old Town, The Monk's Bunk offers travelers a home away from home. With clean and spacious dorm rooms from 4 to 12 beds with custom made beds, guests can get a good night sleep after exploring the city and experiencing Tallinn's great nightlife.
Our comfy, open plan common area and cheap bar is a great place to chill out, play pool and meet other like-minded travelers, and of course, our staff. Whether they're taking you on a free pub crawl, guiding you on a tour or cooking you dinner, our local and international staff are always here to help and offer you their best local tips. The Monk's Bunk also has a large, fully equipped kitchen and clean and modern showers and bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi and internet, laundry service and a 24-hour front desk are also provided.
We organize daily and nightly activities, from walking tours of our favourite areas of Tallinn and AK47 shooting during the day to regular hostel dinners and trips to our favourite and cheapest bars and clubs by night. We also offer exclusive guided tours to a soviet prison which is closed to the public.

I think what makes us special is our diversity. We're a semi-big hostel, which means there's always someone up for a chat, a game of pool at our bar or to go on a pub crawl. At the same time you'll find with us a very cosy, chilled out atmosphere. On quiet, rainy day you can easily cuddle up on our comfy couches to read a book or watch a movie together on our big screen.

What our guests like most about our hostel is firstly its prime location. Freedom square and the Old Town are literally across the street and we are also very strategically located for all kind of public transport. People also love that we are neighbouring a late night food place called 'Loca' where you can get great (and cheap) pizza's, chicken nuggets and burgers after a night out in town.
Personally I think that one of the biggest strengths of The Monk's Bunk is the big variety of people that visit us.
