DIRECTIONS TO THE MONK'S BUNK

The Monk's Bunk is facing the Freedom Square (Vabaduse Väljak), the biggest square of the Old Town. Wether you come by bus, train or plane: public transport will drop you off pretty much in front of our hostel.

From Central Bus station:
• You need to take a tram No. 4 (direction Tondi) until the tram stop 'Vabaduse väljak', or take a bus No. 17, 17a or 23 to the bus stop 'Vabaduse väljak'. From here you walk a little bit back to the Swedbank right on the corner of the big intersection. Go around the corner of the Swedbank and you will be already in Tatari street. We are located on Tatari 1, the house after the sex shop. Ring the bell at the entrance next to the Vesipiip bar.

From Harbour (A, B, C terminals), Train station:
• You need to take a tram No. 1 or 2 (direction Tondi, Ülemiste or Kadriorg) to tram stop 'Hobujaama', and take a tram No. 3 or 4 from there (direction Tondi) and ride to the 'Vabaduse väljak' tram stop'. From here you walk a little bit back to the Swedbank right on the corner of the big intersection. Go around the corner of the Swedbank and you will be already in Tatari street. We are located on Tatari 1 in the building after the sex shop. Ring the bell at the entrance next to the Vesipiip bar.

From Airport:
• Bus 90K departs from right outside the arrival hall. Ride to the ' Vabaduse Väljak' stop. From here you walk a little bit back to the Swedbank right on the corner of the big intersection. Go around the corner of the Swedbank and you will be already in Tatari street. We are located on Tatari 1, the house after the sex shop. Ring the bell at the entrance next to the Vesipiip bar.
Alternatively, you can take bus No. 2 and get off at the bus stop 'A.Laikmaa' in the city center. From there take a short walk to the tram stop 'Hobujaama' and take a tram No. 3 or 4 (direction Tondi) to the 'Vabaduse väljak' tram stop.


Coming by taxi:

Taxis that you find on the street tend to overcharge. Try to negotiate a price with them and try not to pay more than 10 euros. If you can, it's much more reliable and cheaper to order a taxi on +372 638 0000 to pick you up (pay attention to the car number that they tell you) and expect to pay 5-10 Euro, depending on traffic and whether you are coming from the harbor, bus station or airport.


Coming by car:

There is a Europark car park right in our backyard. Parking there would cost €5 per day.
