What a great hostel. If you don;'t like drinking don't go here. Luckely I like drinking, and it was a great stay! Clean sheets, clean toilets, loads of facilities, pub crawls, party, and great fun! Thank you Rosie, Clara and all the rest for the great stay! Deflinetly would recomend you to go here!

Good location, comfortable room and beds (as in hostel). Nice staff and bar in lobby. Very safe. The biggest inconvinience was the obligation to pay deposit for keys and the closest surroundings wich was a gay club. ;/

I had an awesome time at Monks Bunk. The staff are sweet to hang out with and super relaxed, and the beer pong and pub crawls are great fun! So good I came back a second time!

Sucks that you have to take off your shoes in the chill/bar area because the floor is sticky from beer spills the night before. World Cup Championship stream was poor quality so we left and watched at Freedom Square, which actually was a good thing. Abundance of bathrooms and showers was a plus, plenty of parking lots nearby, good quality internet, drinks were cheap, and proximity for old town was perfect because we are far enough away for cheaper food/drinks, yet close enough to walk.

Great hostel with a 24hr bar and good atmosphere. Sorry to Rosie for being such a bad drunk :(

Staff in general were friendly, however they were more pre-occupied with getting drunk and looking after themselves then helping guests. Tours promoted through hostel were dodgy, no brochures, just a guy in his minivan and overpriced for what it was.

We enjoyed our stay at the Monk's Bunk despite the fact that we are not 'party' people, we were worried that the hostel maybe noisy but it really wasn't, the bar was on the floor above us so we couldn't really hear much so managed to sleep well. There is a lovely big kitchen that guests can use with a large dining table. Everywhere was clean and the people were friendly.

Well run, social and conveniently located hostel. An inclusive atmosphere meant that everyone socialised and the staff cooked a meal each evening for 2-3 euros, which you would pay more than double in town for. To relax or be entertained it was a great place.

Amazing hostel. Planned to stay three days but ended up staying for over a week. The only downside is that the atmosphere is so good that you never want to leave to sightsee!

Great hostel to meet people and have fun. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Staff was excellent in making sure everyone had a good time. Good location right across the street from the old town.

The guy that checked me in did not even bother telling me anything about the layout of the hostel, like where the kitchen, bathroom, etc. were., whether they had activities planed and so on or any useful information about the city. he did had the decency to point me to a bed but really quiet an unwelcoming person. fortunately, the rest of the staff and owner were actually cool people. this review is more a reflection on that guy with no hair more so than the hostel it self.

Really the place to have some rough parties. Make sure you bring earplugs if you want to have a few hours of sleep. Great atmosphere, clean and nice bathrooms. Can highly recommend staying there.

I had a great time at the Monk's Bunk. This was my first time staying at a hostel so I was a little nervous but the staff was very friendly and showed me a great time. They directed me to different places around the city during the day and at night they partied alongside the guests which was really fun. The facilities were very clean as well and for the price, it's a great value. Would recommend to anybody staying in Tallinn.

Come into this hostel if you're expecting to party! The staff members are really accommodating and chill. They give you a free welcome shot and there are parties going on every night followed by pub crawl. The one night I stayed it was beer pong night. They have quiet hours enforced too so you will be able to get enough rest to start partying again!
