The lodge is amazing! We stayed for one night and nobody more was there, so whole the hostel was for us. The owner is very kind and she prepared us a excellent breakfast!!! We recommend it Our bedroom ( double ensuite) was very cozy, nice and comfortable ( also the bed!)
It is a modern, purpose-built hostel located in a village at the foot of Mourne Mountains. It is very spacious and pleasant to be in. Several walks are starting right at the hostel and a Mourne Rambler bus passes the place five times a day. The hostel has few rooms and dorms and excellent facilities on top of that. Rooms are modestly furnished but I slept very well. We had a family room with a sharedbathroom Breakfast is included in the price and guests are served by the manager and her crew.
It couldn't be better, I arrived cycling late evening and the attention was fantastic. I had a nice shower and good rest, next day early in the morning I had a early breakfast and continued my journey to Belfast. The landscape is stunning. If I have to said something bad, you can't catch internet in the dining room, only in the first floor. This hostel is a must-go.
