The Museum Guest House 2

Nearly 20 years providing low budget lodging to travelers from every corner of the world -regardless of nationality, race, sexual orientation, etc.- along with a welcoming hospitality and an excellent location, made our hostel the best option for those wishing to be lodged in the heart of Budapest at a low rate and near all the main tourist's attractions.

We are 50 meters from 'ASTORIA' metro station (red line M2), and a short walking distance from the National Museum (150 meters), the Synagogue (70 meters), the Central Hall Market (500 meters), and the Danube river with the imposing Elisabeth bridge (300 meters), and two of the most important thermal baths of Budapest: Rudas (500 meters) and Gellert (800 meters), on the Buda side, across Elisabeth bridge.

Near the hostel there are several restaurants where you can eat for 3 to 5 euros traditional Hungrian lunch, 24-hour supermarkets (Spaar, Match, Roni, Tesco, etc), bakeries, pizzerias, as well as shopping centers, cinemas, theaters, discos, pubs, etc. We are in the epicenter of the nightlife, and on top of it we offer our guests a FREE walking tour for 3 hours in English and Spanish every day of the week.

Our rooms are bright, spacious, colorful, and some of them are in a separated apartment a couple of minutes walk from the main building.

We have a common room with a balcony having an amazing view of Kroly Krt -one of the most important boulevards in the heart of Budapest. We have also free wi-fi internet access in every room and common areas of the hostel, a furnished kitchen for self-catering and 24-hour free self-service coffee and/or tea all the time, free luggage storage and lockers. We do not have any curfew or lock-out time, but quietness is appreciated after 10 pm to guarantee everyone a good rest.

NOTES:
In the case of arrivals after midnight or delayed arrivals for more than 2 hours from the arrival time given during the booking, it is highly recommended to send us a confirmation (by email, phone or text message) regarding the arrival time, as we are an small hostel with limited number of beds, in order to hold on the reserved beds/rooms. Not making this warning regarding delayed/late arrivals, the beds/rooms might not be any more available after 2 hours from the expected arrival time.
