best place ro stay in riga if you are a student!

This is one of the best hostel I have ever been. For sure one of the top hostel in Europe.

One of the best hostels I have stayed at, good key card system and lockers in each room for security and excellent staff who are friendly and willing to help out/pour a beer whenever you need. The signing up for tours is done on big whiteboards in the reception area and there are two good sized common rooms with good music and foosball, Overall this is one of the best hostels I have stayed at in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

a nice place to stay

Just across the street from the bus station - everything in the city centre (sights, bars, etc.) is within walking distance, also a big supermarket is about 5 minutes away. I stayed there just for a night but the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Perfect location - could hardly find a similar location for the price that cheap. We are extra happy for friendly staff, which recommended us to take the so called "Yellow suitcase tour", an (almost) free city tour covering non traditional parts of Riga - we saw a different, real face of the city, not just the old town.

Undoubtedly a first rate hostel, one of the best (if not the best) hostels I've ever stayed in. Great location, facilities are utterly clean and the girls at the reception are absolutely outstanding and helpful, not to mention they are really charming. Highly recommended.

If you want to party, this is the best place ever!! but sometimes if u don't join the hostel events u have to que long for beer before anyone serves u.. party people could also get shots at the hostel after bar and maybe therefore they didn't behave that well when coming to the dorm..Anyhow the hostel gave excellent advice for us of where to go, fun in common room with others and the facilites were exellent, huge lockers, nice kitchen and better fry pans (teflon)than I at home, great hostel!

Nice hostel in the city center of Riga. Staff is very friendly and there's a good atmosphere in the common rooms. There were some people partying and screaming in the corridors, not great if you want to sleep. At night, there are drunken people hanging around in the streets, bit intimidating. Overall: good value for money and excellent location. Highly recommended!

I don't have a bad word to say about this place, the rooms were spacious with big storage areas under the bed which could be locked, plenty of activities and things going on, friendly staff and very clean bathrooms. I would recommend this to anyone staying in Riga!

Very nice hostel!

The whole hostel was very nice as well as the staff. It was situated in the middle of the old town and very close to the bus station. our room was clean and also the common room were very nice. Since the first step into the hostel you feel welcome and at home. It was a very comfy and familiar atmosphere

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hostel was in a very convenient location, so easy to get to from the airport. The pub crawls were good craic also.

Great atmosphere and an incredible staff, who can accommodate just about any request! Spent the weekend and had a blast - thanks for showing me Riga!

Brilliant hostel, one of my favourite ive stayed in!! Good location, really friendly staff, cheap clean and did some great bar crawls, karioke and husky trecking!! Cant fault anything, if you come to Riga STAY HERE!!!!

I really enjoyed staying there, it was really great. Gooood staff and nice facilities!! I enjoyed hot shower and cozy bed. Especially i loeved their kindness. Thank youverymuch for great service(including apple:)

This is an excellent hostel and I recommend it highly to the right type/age of traveler. My only complaint is that I found it to be catering so much to the people who come to Riga to party, that it almost felt hostile to someone who was visiting for a broader experience (the staff person on the night shift was especially pushy).

We had a great stay and I will stay here the next time I'm in town as well. Regarding the AK47 shooting - you should actually offer AK47 shooting with 7.62mm rounds, not a newer 5.56 export version. At least we wanted to shoort with the old, legendary weapon and your information and drawing are misleading. This is an excellent hostel with wonderful staff and I highly recommend it!
