I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly, helpful, and outgoing. I was very pleased with the late checkout service, just $5 and you can stay until 1pm. The free breakfast was also amazing! My only qualm was that there wasn't an easy "hang out space" that was comfortable. The kitchen was very nice, but I would have liked a more open living room like area. If they had one, I certainly didn't find it! But the room was great, and I would definitely come back again!

It is very clear that this will be a topnotch hostel when the construction is done. In the meantime, there is a bit of dust . . . but not distractingly so. The neighborhood is more intimidating at first, then you realize that street art is a culture that Brooklyn has embraced and see its charm. It was sharing the top of the list of the many hostels we have stayed at around the world. Thank you.

Check-in was easy, the bathrooms were decently clean. I have to say I slept great, the beds are quite comfortable. However I felt EXTREMELY unsafe at night walking from the subway to the hostel. Even though it's only about 2 1/2 blocks, I will never stay at this hostel again if I'm by myself. Lots of dark alleys, just not safe especially for a girl by themselves. Email them and ask the total of the price, or at least really read into the fine print.

To me, for a hostel, the breakfast ends too early in the morning. Perhaps 10 am would be better as most travellers are not awake in time for breakfast and then we don't get that ammenity. Otherwise, the place is amazing. I had a package delivered to the front desk and they got it to me. Also, an Ipad for rent REALLY helped me out. Thanks

Great value for money in NYC and surrounded by cool bars, restaurants and shops. Basic rooms than can be a bit cold at night.

Nice hostel, not far from the metro, nice restaurants in the neighbourhood (you should try Roberta's). Really nice that the check out time is 11;30. You don't have to rush out that way. Negative points were the noisy beds. Every one is awake when you move. But it's got his charms as well. The shower is rather small and the gurtain always stick to your body - but that's the thing with shower gurtains. It was a pity that the kitchen/ meeting room already closed at midnight.

Great hostel. Very accessible. My only complaint is that there was black mould on the shower curtain.

I really enjoyed my stay and you really get a lot for your money! The rooms are big and I just loved the area and Brooklyn! The bathrooms are the only problem I had, cause most of the time they were dirty, so you better prepare for that:-)! But other than that the rooms are clean and as I mentioned before, they are big. I will definitely come back to this hostel!!

Everything really fine and very good service, the area of the hostel is on a good metro line but a bit isolated.

I arrived a day late due to last minute issue and the staff were very good about this. I found all the staff very nice. It was a good place to meet people and the breakfast was good.

Communal kitchen and dining is perfectly set up to allow you to meet and hang with fellow hostelers. Free breakfast is great too, unless you've partied too hard to be up by 9am the next day ;)

It was a very good hostel. Location in Brooklyn, but very close to subway so easy to get to Manhattan at all times. People who worked there were nice, and it was clean. Just wished they could have kept the kitchen open longer than until midnight ;)

I dind't spend much time at the hostel. I only ate breakfast the last day I was there, because I was on vacation and I din't want to wake up before 9 am for the free breakfast. My room was very nice and clean. The batrooms were big and clean. It was easy to take the subway and go to Manhattan, but I was scared at the beginning because the area didn't look very nice.

Nice place full of young people. Nice athmosphere and friendly staff. The few negatives were the weird smell in our room, not really clean bathrooms and slow and unstable internet connection. But I would definitely recommed this hostel to friends and other people.
