The value for money during weekdays is fantastic, but it's much more expensive on a weekend. So if you're going through the week, what you get for what you pay is significantly better than anything else you'd get, but on a weekend if you're looking to save go elsewhere. The rooms and the whole style are pretty cool and the location in Brooklyn is in a really good area not too far from a subway station, good cheap places to eat and cool bars.

Great value for money. One of the better hostels I've stayed in and for the price makes it worth the while! Free wi-fi and breakfast is a huge bonus. Very clean, rooms are good. Close to Metro and some nice cafes, bars and Organic supermarkets. Area is more industrial with character ye felt very safe. Right on the L line and a few stops from Williamsburg central.

There was one really great front desk person that helped me into another room because the person that I was supposed to be sharing with was very rude and creepy. He was the nicest person on staff that I talked to. Otherwise, I called the hostel to let them know I would be late checking in and the lady on the phone talked to me like I was stupid. Also another front desk lady seemed like it was too much to bother her for help. Other than that the facilities were clean and retro. Cool atmosphere.

staff isn't that friendly and neighborhood isn't the best for those not familiar with industrial brooklyn but the bed was comfortable, the room was warm. the bathrooms were pretty okay, and my dorm mates were pretty awesome so i'd stay there again!

A lovely place to stay if you don't mind living a few subway stops away from Manhattan (which you shouldn't). Williamsburg is such a nice place and getting on to the island is super easy. Chill vibe at the hostel, I met several cool people to hang out with as I travelled by myself, and the rooms were good. They were doing some remodeling while I was there, making the huge dorms into smaller ones. All in all, i would definitely reccomend this hostel to other travellers. Enjoy the city

By far the best hostel I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in a lot of hostels. Nice atmosphere, great staff, comfy beds, clean facilities, free wifi, great kitchen and chill out area, and the free breakfast is amazeballs! Location is a little out of the way but with the J, Z, M, L and G trains all within a 15 minute walk it's convenient for Manhattan and getting to and from JFK. Only downside; you will be bitterly disappointed with any future hostels you stay in, as I'm painfully discovering.

Good hostel, just not so good located in comparison to others one I saw but if we compare the price, it is worth to book for one or more nights. Breakfast was also very good and I got nothing to complain about the staff. The only thing I missed there is a guide with more night places to go out, in addition to the one they provide with restaurants, those hostel guides are the best to get started in an unknown city.

You guys are awesome. Great facilities, and very chill space in a great neighborhood. The kitchen closing at midnight was a bit of a bummer though.
