I enjoyed my stay here very much and would.reccommend it to others
We spent 3 nights in a triple bedroom with a private bathroom (hot and cold water). The place was really clean and well located close to the main tourist street but far enough to avoid all the noise and enjoy the mountain view. It was worthy for the money we paid (3300 NPR total), but we had a lot of troubles with WiFi connection (almost not working) and the staff was okay but too interested on selling some package or activities.
Really nice hostel in a great location near the lakeside. Very modern and well built, its slightly lacking atmosphere due to not many social areas other than the rooftops. Very nice place though and great value, friendly staff.
The facility was great. Loved our stay at the North Face inn! But the owner of the Inn was a bit cold toward us after we made it clear that we were not going to book our activities/transportation through him. I assume he is able to get some extra money out of arranging these experiences for guests and we were confident enough to arrange those for ourselves. Otherwise still a fantastic stay! Got a free upgrade to a single room rather than a shared, for no extra cost!
We really enjoyed our stay at the northface inn. Raja gave us great off-season rates and booked us on a discount safari to Chitwan, which was awesome! We would definitely stay here again.
Very helpful staff. Excellent room. A very good place to stay
The rooms were clean and comfy, staff were very friendly and helpful, arranging trekking and other activities. I'd recommend this place to anybody visiting Pokhara.
Staff was extremely helpful, rooms were well appointed, and located close to the main tourist drag. A very nice place to stay in overall.
Beautiful garden with beautiful view! Clean and close to town.
Great family run business. Just off the main street and quiet at night
This hostel lives its topic "come as a guest and leave as a friend". Raju and his family are amazingly friendly, I even had dinner with his wife and kids. Everything they've organized was at a reasonable price and went perfectly well without any problems or doubts. It was a pleasure indeed to stay here. Hope to see you soon!
A great guesthouse run by a great family, Raj bends over backwards to make you feel at home, this place is a cut above the rest.
Really nice stay at The north Face Inn. Raju the owner is really helpful, nice and polite and will organise anything for you. The rooms are light and airy and nice and clean. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Our stay at the North Face was great. We felt very welcome. It is a lovely family run hotel, and all of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. It was the perfect place for us to get away from the hustle and bustle of the hostels we had been staying at. All in all a wonderful place to stay.
Awful experience. We were in a hurry and the hostel owner, Raju, took advantage of that. He lied to us about the going rate for a trek and charged us more than 3 times the appropriate price. Also, the guide "Raysum" he assigned to us spent the whole trek trying to scam more money out of us. Would never recommend anyone stay here or book treks through this hostel.
Enjoyed our stay. Hotel a 5 minute walk from main strip therefore was nice and quiet. Easy to organise activites through hotel. Raju organised an excellent Chitwan trip for us for a bargain price, also booked a 2 day trek and white water rafting for us.
excellent location, on a quiet street just off the main lake road, hotel is close to many restaurants/shops/atms/etc, the owner Raj is pretty much the nicest man in all of Nepal, the rooms were extremely clean and the bathroom furnishings are modern (complete with reliable hot water showers), each floor has nice communal seating areas wherein you can watch the sunset/sunrise over the lake and surrounding Himalayas, didn't want to leave this hotel or Pokhara, definitely the highlight of my trip
Possibly the nicest place I've stayed in. The owners, a husband and wife, are extremely nice and helpful, assisting us on planning our trek. Liked it so much that I ended up spending another week here after completing the Annapurna Circuit.
Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. I was warmly received and, thanks to your help and careful concern, could safely enjoy the trekking. In near future, i hope to visit Pokhara once more and stay in your hostel again.
