BEST HOSTEL EVER!!! Really good hostel. Atmosphere is really good, clean, good bed, nice people. Free bbq every week, free tours around Cairns and free suncreen at the pool. The bar is awesome!

they should improve wifi and add more fixed pc's. and they need more smoking spaces.

A brilliant hostel, the staff were brilliant! Carl the ents/bar manager persuaded me to do crazy stuff like bungy jumping, so glad he did! The free day trips run by the hostel were brilliant, and the free pancakes/BBQs at the weekend were great! The only bad point of my stay was two very rude girls in my room (15) who treated it like their home, noisy, inconsiderate etc, however the receptionist on duty on my last night did tell them off when they were disturbing those off us late at night :)

Very good location. Nice hostel, very helpful staff, I booked a couple of tours from there which was very convenient. Generally clean but some details could improve (like the fridge in the room that wasn´t cleaned for ages aparently). Cons: sharing a room with people that live there that although were nice you feel like you´re intruding in someone´s life. I would stay there again definitely

It's the best in cairns. You got your own bathroom ,your own fridge and your locker on each room. They clean every day. The offers to the cairns trip are the best and the cheapest. The kitchen is chef style and the beer at the pub it's the cheapest of cairns. Definitely better than dreamtime where you gonna die of heat and mosquito bites. I really can't understand why so many people like it

It is good hostel in this tourism centered town. Some staff seems to be a bit indifferent to the equiries of the travellers, probably due to being asked frequently throughtout the day. The indoor facilities are alright for a hostel. They even have a wardrobe and refridge inside. Most of my dissapointment came from the tour I attended, not this hostel...

Great location, very clean, helpful staff. I was recommended this hostel to get decent sleep before doing my Advanced OWL and yes, uber quiet... too quiet!!! Completely lacking in atmosphere maybe it was because the bar was shut... apart from cooking (the kitchen here is awesome) I didn't hang out here much.

I dont normally write much about my stay at hostels as i cant be bothered but would love to thank you for a fantastic stay as it really was a great place. The staff in the reception were fantastic and did not mind a chat and also the layout and cleaniness of the property was imaculate. Thanks Heaps

One of the best hostels I have stayed so far! The staff is amazing and very helpful, the rooms are HUGE compared to other hostels, and I liked the private bathroom for the 6 beds dorm. Great to have free breakfast and internet, even if that was quite slow! Overall, I highly recommend it! :)

I have stayed at many hostels since my travels, and Northern Greenhouse Cairns is in the top 5! I would recommend it to anyone, I am a solo traveler and found it very easy to meet people.

This hostel was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The atmosphere was so good and the facilities were excellent. As a single traveller it was great meeting new people here too. The location is great it is right in the middle of everything. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cairns.
